i have not receive any code to my phone to log in. i email support and they asked me a ton of info to turn off 2fa. i dont want to turn off 2fa. i want their system to send me a code to verify the login.
I've used the lifetime deal for 8 years and I'm really happy with it. Never had a problem, download and upload speeds are good. I choosed it because I loved the pc software allowing you to use it as any usb drive. You could also install apps on pcloud. I see some reviews talking about customer service, but I never needed to contact them.
Fil tjenesten virker fint.. Når man først er kommet ind. Men på ofte bliver man logget ud, og så starter problemerne, lige nu kan jeg ikke komme på min mobil med pclaud, fordi jeg kan ikke logge ind med password - i stedt vil pclaud sende en 8 cifret kode på mail, denne kommer så aldrig frem.. nu har jeg klikket 10 gange på gensend kode.. MEN HVORFOR skal man logges ud i det hele taget???? Hvis man har købt dette abonnement og regner med ens filer billeder mm. er backuppet til pclaud.. så kan man godt tro om igen.. det holder maks en uge - så stopper den med at synce. Det er kun lige et hår bedre på en PC. PClaud burde virke i baggrunden, og ikke spørge om login i ny og næ. Jeg har virkeligt fortrudt mit abonnement!
Een zeer goed EUROPEES alternatief voor de allesoverheersende amerikaanse big tech bedrijven die al je data 'stelen' en gebruiken om hun AI te trainen. Het bedrijf achter pCloud staat niet stil en blijft hun toepassing door ontwikkelen en verbeteren en dit voor alle platformen (windows, mac, linux, android, ...). Onlangs 'pdocuments' toegevoegd en optionele gezichtsherkenning.
Habe mir vor 6 Jahren den Lebenslangen Speicher (2x2 TB) gekauft, um meine Datensicherung in der Cloud zu haben. Die Nutzung mit WebDAV war damals wegen permanenter Abbrüche eine Zumutung. Ich habe mich sehr geärgert wegen des rausgeschmissenen Geldes. Nun stand im Blog, dass z.B. rsync genutzt werden kann. Und das funktioniert bei mir wirklich top! Endlich kann ich pCloud so nutzen, wie ich es möchte. DANKE!
Since i wrote review for other service that i use today, why i just stop, continue write. I am using PCloud Lifetime plan for few years. They works, uploads got little slower because i live in Asia, far from their datacenter (EU Datacenter). Only downside is Mac OS desktop app requires disable system level protection, so i never installed it and never tried again. Until fix this i don't wanna consider it.

I have been using pCloud for many years now, and it's been fantastic. What's equally fantastic is their customer service which I had to reach out to recently. I mistakenly purchased a service that I did not need, and they not only refunded me, but also gave me helpful information and assurance. They are responsive and responsible and did not try to sell me something I did not need.
Great command lıne support. Rsync service is very convenient. Overall it has been equally useful in mac, windows and the linux world. Nice support team.
PCloud Support and complaint handling. I attempted to escalate an issue to a complaint and was advised that PCloud have no formal complaint process. Instead I was stonewalled at every opportunity with generic acknowledgements of failure but no accountability. For clarity this review relates to my experience getting support and is distinct from my other review regarding the failure of the service to communicate billing issues appropriately, automatic downgrades and arbitrary data deletion policies. This review is intended to highlight that pCloud openly admit to having no complaints process.
At first I was sceptical, as I'm always are with lifetime purchases. But my experiences with pcloud werd overwhelmingly good! The client installation was easy and straightforward on all my devices. OneDrive, Dropbox and Google drive have no official Linux support, while pCloud runs smoothly on even CachyOS Linux! Their support may not be the fastest, but they were very friendly and we were able to resolve my requests after some back-and-forth. All in all, an outstanding service in the modern cloud landscape! Especially the virtual drive functionality for devices with limited space!
I am very satisfied with the Pcloud service, both in terms of its functionality and systematic development. I am using it for several years now. The service operates very quickly and is highly affordable. Additionally, I would like to commend the customer support, which has been exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend Pcloud for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient cloud service.
Ajout à l'avis initial : Afin d’évaluer l’instabilité de l’application PCloud, celle-ci a été intégralement désinstallée de l’ordinateur. Cette démarche a permis de confirmer que l’application PCloud était à l’origine des dysfonctionnements rencontrés sur l’ordinateur. Cette conclusion est cohérente avec le fonctionnement de l’application, qui stocke les fichiers et dossiers directement sur PCloud via l’interface utilisateur du PC. Ainsi, l’ouverture d’un fichier au sein de l’application déclenche une requête vers le serveur PCloud afin de récupérer le fichier, plutôt que de le lire directement depuis le disque dur local. Par conséquent, une instabilité entraîne automatiquement un dysfonctionnement de l’application, figeant le fichier en cours d’ouverture ainsi que tous les fichiers ouverts en arrière-plan. Un redémarrage de l’ordinateur devient alors obligatoire. Cela explique pourquoi trop de données envoyées vers PCloud déclenche un arrêt immédiat avec un message d’erreur. Il s’agit donc bien d’un problème de stabilité de l’application. Donc, il est recommandé de stocker les fichiers directement sur le disque dur local de l’ordinateur, avec une sauvegarde automatique vers PCloud, en vérifiant régulièrement l’intégrité de ces sauvegardes. *** Une instabilité devenue vraiment problématique J’utilise pCloud tous les jours depuis plus de 5 ans. L’outil répond globalement à mes besoins, mais son instabilité récurrente est devenue un véritable problème. Dès qu’il s’agit de déplacer des fichiers volumineux, ou parfois simplement de supprimer un dossier, pCloud peut se bloquer et « tourner en rond » sans raison apparente. Dans ces situations, il faut attendre que le logiciel sorte de son bug, puis le redémarrer pour retrouver un fonctionnement normal. J’ai signalé ces problèmes à plusieurs reprises au support. On m’a régulièrement proposé des patchs ou des mises à jour, mais malheureusement sans réelle amélioration durable. Après plus de cinq ans d’utilisation, il devient difficile de considérer ces dysfonctionnements comme de simples problèmes passagers. Je regrette également que l’anglais semble désormais prendre de plus en plus de place ce qui est assez surprenant pour une entreprise suisse. Enfin, je trouve regrettable que l'option transfert des données vers des serveurs situés en Europe fasse l’objet d’une facturation supplémentaire ... surtout si c'est pour des infrastructures comme Amazon. En résumé : pCloud a de bonnes fonctionnalités et pourrait être un très bon outil, mais son manque de stabilité, qui perdure depuis trop longtemps, est pour moi un défaut majeur. Pour un service de stockage et de synchronisation de fichiers utilisé quotidiennement, la stabilité et la fiabilité devrait être une priorité absolue.
Waardeloos bedrijf dat je maandenlang aan het lijntje houdt. Liegen en bedriegen. 2x betaald op hun verzoek en het wordt niet terugbetaald. Daarnaast is hun server bizar traag. Advies: blijf weg van deze cowboys!
As a cultural entrepreneur (Dutch living in France) I manage a lot of documents on multiple computers. And as I also organise events it is essential for me to share documents with a lot of people. On a SECURE basis. I don't like any of my personal or organisational data to be stored on non-EU located servers. As I store all kinds of data from artists and others that I work with it is in their interest to have easy access to that data and be sure that our American nephews do not mingle in our affairs. Comes in pCloud. I am a heavy user, storing over 250 GB data (documents, photos, recordings) in the cloud. I have 5 computers active in my household / business and a couple of mobile devices. I can access all my data anytime (as long as I have an internet connection of course) or I use one of my devices with local mirrors of that data). In my now years long experience I have never experienced a data or security breach, have never lost dat or a single file. On the contrary: pCloud has saved me with the occasional hardware crash / reinstall and recuperation of files from anyone connected to my pCloud storage. As a result a number of people in my sphere have converted to pCloud as well. Yes, I know, there is NextCloud delivering everything I would use. But, I just don't have the urge to install and manage another system on my own hosting. pCloud is rocksolid, easy to use and easy to explain to others. I just don't want to be Googled, forced to use OneDrive or iCloud. Non of them work as easy on ALL platforms I use (MacOS, Linux, Android). And they are US based which means the US govt can interfere with my data. There are other alternatives but I just like pCloud for its easy of use, the carefull roll out of new features and general solidity. Score: 10 out of 10. I wouldn't want to work without pCloud anymore. Get your own pCloud, you won't regret it.
Despite offering higher speeds than other market players, I can't get past 865 KB/s. This is unacceptable—I have a 1 Gbps fiber plan! It feels like I'm on a copper connection with a 56k USRobotics modem! It's a disgrace—stay away! I've tried everything—creating a .RAR file so there's only one large file to transfer—but no luck; the speed still doesn't exceed 865 KB/s! Don't bother with them. Plus, I've sent four messages over the last week with no reply—pCloud is sinking like the Titanic! The application glitches on one computer but seems to work on another; I cannot reply on Trustpilot because I don't have a reference number to provide. I am in contact with pCloud, and they have apologized, explaining that the lack of customer support is due to the holidays. pCloud #1526562 is on the way to solve
I’ve used PCloud for longer than I can remember. It has all my family photos and videos in it. I use it to auto backup our phone photos and I migrated all our old photos to it a decade ago. It renews monthly. Went in looking for photos and most of them are just gone. No explanation. Account was downgraded to basic despite an active subscription and PayPal payment setup. No warning emails, they just started deleting files at random. I’ve reached out to support and will update this review if they recover my files and act appropriately.

I am using pCloud for several years now as an alternative for my Google drive and OneDrive and it is working really well on my phone. I am no longer using the pCloud desktop application on my laptop for making backups as it lacks some functionality. Fortunately third-party backup software is working with pCloud. very happy with that.

Bei einem Problem mit der Lokalisierung meiner Fotos in der Karte blieb der Support hartnäckig und freundlich dran und wir konnten das Thema schlussendlich lösen. Partnerschaftlich, lösungsorientiert und Zukunft sicher. So wünscht man sich das.

They only allow access to a payment invoice for a few days, after that you can only access a payment receipt? WHY? This is totally stupid.
I've lowered my review to one star as nothing at all is currently working. Can't upload with out errors. I've been using pCloud for 7 months now and I'm disappointed with the service. It's not the quickest to upload files and the sync function is so slow it's not actually viable as a service. My Mac reckoned it would take three weeks to sync 36Gb of data. The look and feel are just passable, but not as nice as say Google Drive or Onedrive. My service is up for renewal in the New Year, but I won't renew unless there are big changes at pCloud.
Utilisateur depuis un an et demi, je suis très satisfait de pCloud : synchronisation fiable, applis stables, rien à redire au quotidien. J'ai profité de l'offre du 14 juillet pour passer au forfait 1 To à vie avec Encryption inclus (~200€), et c'est une très bonne affaire. Paiement unique, pas d'abonnement à renouveler, et le chiffrement offert en plus. Tant que la boîte tourne, on garde accès à son cloud sans y repenser — un vrai bon plan sur la durée. Je recommande.
Ich habe das Basic Abo gekauft, jedoch wurde es nicht richtig umgesetzt, da meine alten Fotos nicht hochgeladen wurden sondern nur Fotos, welche entstanden sind nachdem ich das Abo gekauft habe. Der Support antwortet nicht und eine Rückerstattung habe ich somit auch nicht erhalten. Ich dachte ich habe endlich eine (kostengünstige) Alternative zu den Amerikanischen Cloud Diensten gefunden wurde jedoch enttäuscht.
Vaste arnaque Pcloud et ses applications sont buggués jusqu a l os . Au bout du 2 eme jour je demande par ecrit le remboursement sous delai légal de 14 . C est traité me repond on et que je dois attendre a cause des delais de MA banque. Le lendemain je demande la reference du remboursement.... et lâ il m est repondu qu il va etre fait et que je dois attendre pendant leur delai administratif !! Si ils remboursent un jour. La grosse arnaque
pCloud is full of advertising articles, so I suggest that anyone considering renting it not be fooled by the promotional materials. I've rented this cloud service twice in the past three years, and I've tested it every two or three months for the past five years. Putting aside the features, pCloud's upload and download speeds are really slow, and it even lags at times. However, customer service just pushes the problem onto the user's end, while other cloud services work fine at the same time. pCloud is truly terrible.
Tuve un problema al realizar el pago con mi tarjeta y me lo solucionaron después de mandar varios emails. Es verdad que la comunicación podría ser más rápida y más ágil pero lo importante es que puedes contar con el servicio técnico.
The functionality of pCloud is optimal for my usage and expectations. Only once during more than four years there was a problem that my files were not automatically synchronised with pCloud as defined - and this was unfortunately an unreported update-error from pCloud itself and quickly fixed after me reporting it to the help desk. Otherwise all the time stable and available, very satisfying. Also the help function works in general fine (via email), although I got sometimes the impression it's also here partly done by AI. But if you insist by repeat queries to get a useful and reliable answer, you'll get it eventually.
Hasta ahora, ya hace un año que compre 2TB vitalicios y es una de las mejores experiencias, tienen app movil, en la web no hay problema y puedo subir y compartir mis archivos, me gusta mucho. Espero en los proximos meses ahorrar y comprar mas almacenamiento, me gusta su servicio, muy recomendado.
Suite a mon mécontentement , Pcloud m'a répondu aimablement j'ai suivi leurs conseils et la résultat est très satisfaisant ,aussi en créant un lien. la transmission est rapide Pour la partie stockage aux usa , j'ai crée un compte avec le stockage en union européenne. C'est donc résolu merci (J’ai fait des essais de transmission de fichiers(petit) et malgré des bonnes connexions des 2 côtés ,la transmission a été très longue Envoyé le soir et reçu le lendemain matin J’ai eu le cas également pour un simple mail ultérieurement c’est aléatoire. Autre chose que je n’aime , malgré un cloud suisse je suis surpris que les données soit stocké au usa Il faut payé pour les stocké dans un autre pays)
Bonjour j'ai synchronisé mes photos sur Pcloud puis j'ai arreter la synchronisation mais la synchronisation reste effective ce qui fait que je ne peux pas supprimer les fichiers sur Pcloud sans supprimer sur mon disque dur ! le support reste muet malgré mes demandes, je ne sais plus quoi faire et ai perdu 1400 photos!!! mise à jour du 11/7/26 : merci au SAV Pcloud de m'avoir enfin répondu et de m'avoir donné une solution. Il faut écrire en anglais, pas de réponse si on demande en français, étrange?
Ich hatte PCloud mit 500 GB für ein Jahr gebucht und es nach zwei Tagen bereut. Der einzige Vorteil ist die gute Downloadgeschwindigkeit. Dafür lässt der Upload sehr zu wünschen übrig. Sowohl die Internetseiten also auch die Apps für Windows und Apple machen den Eindruck als stammen sie noch aus den 2000er Jahren. Kein strukturierte Ordneransicht, keine einstellbare Sortierung, zum Löschen muss jede Datei einzeln angeklickt werden, Ordnerfreigaben sind extrem umständlich, unübersichtlich und funktionieren nur, wenn am Ordner nichts geändert wird. Das Datenvolumen für freigegebene Ordner ist begrenzt. Fazit: Die gesamte Präsenz von PCloud wirkt billig und primitiv, ist umständlich und nicht annähernd zeitgemäß. ___________________________________________________________ PS: Diese Antwort habe ich erwartet. Ich hatte am 02.07.2026 ein 500 GB Abo bestellt, was um 15:32 Uhr freigeschaltet wurde. Am 03.07.2026 um 21:56 Uhr wurde meine Kündigung schriftlich bestätigt. Das Ganze kann mit den entspr. Mails nachgewiesen werden. Die Daten sind ihnen somit bereits bekannt. Klar, dass sie kritische Bewertungen gerne löschen lassen möchten, doch ändert dies nichts an ihren altertümlichen Produkten und den schlechten Service. Auf eine Rückerstattung warte ich noch immer. Machen Sie ihre Produkte einfach besser, insbesondere die Apps. Schauen Sie wie andere das machen, dann brauchen sie das Rad nicht neu zu erfinden und müssen auch keine schlechten Bewertungen fürchten.
pCloud est tout ce que je cherchais en matière de cloud : simple d'utilisation, mais avec des fonctionnalités avancées, hautement disponible, une vie privée protégée, des forfaits à vie intéressants. De plus, le support fait un très bon travail : ils m'ont beaucoup aidé lors de mon lancement. Que demander de plus ?

pCloud lifetime opslag van 2 TB aangeschaft. Dit om een extra backup in Europa te hebben staan van mijn bestanden. Dit werkt heel erg goed. De backup synchroniseert ook nog eens automatisch met mijn andere cloudservice. Installatie en gebruik is erg makkelijk. Ik heb 0,5 TB moeiteloos gebackupped zonder problemen.

Summary: The service is generally good, and I like that I can store data in the EU too, but the macOS and Linux clients need some TLC, and the backup service wording is misleading - deleting files from either your PC or the "backup" deletes them from both pCloud and your PC - this is not a backup. Customer support is often slow, taking many days to respond, but they have made a proper effort as of late, attempting (but unfortunately so far failing) to fix an issue I've been having. I've had multiple issues in the past but these have slowly been fixed and the service has become more reliable in general. The macOS client has only just added official support for macOS 12, which is long obsolete, but it does seem to work okay on 26 (which is the current version at the time of writing). I think it must be the kernel extension that allows access to pCloud as if it were a local drive that isn't compatible, but it requires disabling SIP so I don't use it anyway. The Linux client has a number of issues at the moment: A recent update caused it to randomly start locking up when resuming from suspend, but this only occurs a small amount of the time, so tracking it down (and determining if it has been fixed) is quite difficult. Their fix does seem to have made it a little better though. The other problem I've encountered with the Linux client is that it randomly stops noticing new or changed files in the synced folders until you remove and re-add the syncs, which is obviously not good, and manually fixing it depends on you noticing that the problem has occurred. I haven't reported this second problem again yet as I'm trying to get the first one resolved first.

J'ai choisi Pcloud pour sa facilité d'accès, la modif des fichiers via la fonction "edit", le partage entre personnes la fonction Pcloud Pass est super pratique Le support est très réactif. J'ai juste un bémol au niveau de la deconnexion qui n'est pas automatique. La sécurité de mes données n'est pas automatiquement assurée puisque les accès restent ouverts
J'ai décrit un problème de connexion de pCloud sur Android via le support. Rapidement j'ai reçu la marche à suivre détaillée (plusieurs options) pour résoudre mon incident. Merci au support technique pour leur réactivité !
UPDATE 4: I couldn't check whether the issue was fixed or not because I couldn't log in to my account due to an error called "Please provide code". UPDATE 3: Even though this was an urgent issue I was hoping to be resolved in a timely manner, by now the support team still hasn’t responded and assist in resolving the issue. Part of a service is also the timely customer support, which pCloud often lacks in comparison to their competitors. Update 2: Issue hasn’t been resolved yet. I have actually responded to the support team via email but I haven’t gotten a response yet. Just got scammed out of $45. The support didn’t even reply to my emails…basically while creating my account and signing up, Pcloud didn’t let me and kept showing error time out. Which led me to use incognito to create and buy the annual plan. But then once I login on regular devices, my subscription plan is GONE! And the support doesn’t even so much as has automated reply let alone respond to my email… insanity. UPDATE: after reading the response from pCloud team, it’s most likely not a typo actually. Since I received both emails confirming that I have a subscription AND emails saying I should upgrade my account. I don’t have a ticket ID at all, so if you want to reach me, I have already updated the information and sent it to you as requested. I’ve tried sending a support request through the site and by gmail but didn’t receive a response yet, and I quite need it asap. Thanks!
I havent used pCloud for long. That being said, I'm so far very happy for choosing pCloud. Based on what I have experienced until now: 1. There customer service is very responsive, friendly and supportive. 2. Navigation of the website is very easy and fast. 3. No downtime and 4. Upload and download speeds are reasonably fast. Once I use it for a while, I will update my review accordingly. Until then, it's a 5 star.
DO NOT BUY IF ON A MAC. please don't buy a lifetime subscription like I did. the service is shocking and the app just hangs finder and causes your computer to crash regularly. They ask you to make security changes to allow kernel extensions and they clearly have no idea what they are doing. Service acknowledge that there are issues but it's been months and no fixes and they won't give a refund for this shoddy cloud service
Great agile product made by great small agile team. Hands down beats the "Big Guys" of Dropbox, Box, OneDrive,.... The services and products are lean and mean! Customer service is awesome! Phenominal price point and value.
A ce jour (abonnement "à vie" de 2 To) tout se passe correctement pour peu que le PC soit configuré correctement. Je n'ai pas encore testé le support...
