I have completed 28 paintings

I have completed 28 paintings (9 customs) from masterpiece by numbers since 2019,. Since they went out of business I have tried several other companies. I find that your product is by far the best of the ones I've tried. I have completed five of your paintings so far and I'm about to start one of the three that I recently ordered. I highly recommend you product.

My first painting and there will be more😁

The "Hummingbird Garden" is my first paint by numbers. Ordering was easy and delivery was pretty quick. It is extremely helpful to have a color-coded pattern sheet. I'm about75% finished and it looks fabulous! There are a lot of thin, straight, lines for the hummingbird's tail and wings. I discovered I could put, on the canvas, removable tape to make sure I painted straight lines! Great experience. I'm already planning my next kit to order from Canvas by Numbers.

I am impressed with the quality of your…

I am impressed with the quality of your paint. It is not as transparent as that of other companies. So, the need to go over areas two to three (or more) times to cover the paint numbers is less. However, I still am a little frustrated that all companies feel the need to make the numbers so dark and hard to hide.

This was my third order

This was my third order. I liked the first two so much that I have had several friends pick out pictures that i will paint for them. I find your estimates of the time taken to paint them to be extremely low. Working on them nearly every day for several hours, it has still taken me about two months for each one. Part of that is because I have poor eyesight and jthe numbers and lines are difficult for me to see. However, the final products have been spectacular. Even after I finish these three, I intend to order more. One thing. There is really not enough pain for the whole picture. I have had to order extra kits for the first two and will probably do it again for these three. I am left with a lot of paint that I do not need. Perhaps adding extra pots for some colors would be very helpful.

Im so happy I chose Canvas by Numbers! I did do some research on other websites and those reviews on the other websites were so bad but not Canvas by Numbers. The order process was so easy and safe and I love how you have different layout options such as the canvas board and you can even order extra paints! I ordered the canvas board, extra large with extra paints and let me tell you everything was incredible! The quality was impeccable! The paints are so fresh and creamy and beautiful. I even emailed them to get another guide and their response was so friendly and fast. Thank you Canvas by Numbers for being a brand I can trust!

Great experience

Great experience. The canvas, paint, and image on the canvas are very good. 2 small things- 1-some of the numbers on the canvas were blurry, so that made it hard to be sure what number I should paint. 2-individual paint pots make it EXTREMELY hard to open them. When the paint pots attach to one another, that gives you leverage when opening them. Canvas’ paint pots stand alone and have ridges around them. I’ve dropped 4 opened pots in my lap and on the ground in the process of opening them. I know it’s about the preparing of orders and understand, but I don’t like the paint pots at all. (I’m 54 so it may also be about my dexterity-shrug:) Thank you. I DO plan to order more canvases from you!!!

My kit arrived damaged

My $90 custom kit arrived damaged. The box has a hole gouged in it, one corner is smashed, and the box was bent in transit. This was to be a wedding gift and is in no condition to be given to the bride and groom. I sent support an email with attached photos showing the damage and asked for a refund. No dice. They package carelessly for shipping (just a thin plastic bag) and don't care that the product is damaged in transit. Be cautioned - they do not care.

Memories

My experience with CanvasByNumbers has been simply outstanding, really life-altering. Since October 2025 when I was first introduced to the product, I have ordered more than 40 canvases, and have so far completed 27. They are all painted in memory of my husband who passed in 2024. I convert color and black/white portraits/photos of him or of the two of us into sepia tones, and paint the resulting canvases, slowly and fully eliciting each beautiful memory of the past, brushstroke by brushstroke. Truly amazing grief therapy (and stunning results!). While I can’t bring him back to life by painting him, it focuses me on the joy we had in our marriage and my gratitude for every moment of it. There have been several instances where the color conversion produced tones of black and white, rather than the sepia effect that I was after. In those few cases, the folks at Customer Service worked with me to redo the tones to my satisfaction. My portfolio will hold 48 completed canvases. I have a feeling I may need to get a second portfolio…

This has been wonderful therapy for me…

This has been wonderful therapy for me and I find it quite addicting! I’ve now completed my sixth painting! I love all the colors and they cheer up a room. My only con is that they often leave out a paint color or other item and I have to email them and wait for it which takes a week or so.

Wrong diagram

Hi Frank, I requested a new diagram for my by numbers with Lady with the fan but unfortunately the new diagram that you emailed me did not match the canvas that I had ordered of the Lady with the fan so even though I appreciate that, I can’t blow it up on the email to see better. It wasn’t the same match as the canvas by numbers on the Lady with the fan that I had purchased. Thank you Robin

We ordered the lovely Japanese landscape, with extra colours , the canvas arrived in perfect condition, my husband has started already and making more progress than usual. The hues are simply wonderful...it will take time for the finished painting but I am sure it will be great!

Pretty much perfect!

Pretty much perfect! I've done several pre-made paint by numbers kits and have really enjoyed them. This was my first time using Canvas By Numbers and the quality difference was staggering. The canvas is great and feels like it's soaking in the paint in a satisfying way. The paints flow really well and have strong coverage that doesn't make me worry that I need to do too many coats to cover the lines/numbers. I've already begun thinking through what pictures I want to do next.

I ordered three canvas pictures from…

I ordered three canvas pictures from this company. They are all stock pictures. When I finished the first the colors were totally off. I sent a picture of what I ordered and a screen shot of the finished product. The response I got was sometimes things go wrong with the colors and that my picture looked awesome. I didn’t look awesome in fact it didn’t look at all like what I ordered. No refund suggested by this company. I will never order from them again.

Quality canvas, vibrant paints
