My husband bought a plasma cutter from Yes welder,he was interested in the thickness it said it would cut and he does have to admit it cut what he wanted when other plasma cutter wouldn’t. He would definitely recommend this plasma cutter!

Great little stick welder for the price
Let me start out by saying that I have almost zero experience with stick welding and very little with MIG. So I'm a newbie for sure... The machine sets up easily and strikes an arc much easier than I am used to. Playing with 6011 1/8" and 6013 1/16", I tried Amp settings as recommended and both higher and lower just to see how it changed things. My welds don't look good, but that's on me. I used the 1/16" 6013 at 120V input to help some guys at a race and fill in a small missed section of roll cage weld preventing them from passing tech, and it did the job. That was my first and only attempt at either 6013 or a 1/16" rod, so to have any success is surprising. I also bought some 1/8" 6013 rods but have not had the opportunity to try them yet. Got an L14-30 to L6-30 adapter and a 50 ft extension cable for 220V out of my dryer outlet, and that works great. Only gripe is the plastic on the electrode holder/stinger already broke. It still works, but not I don't have the insulator under the copper clamp. That's the 1 star reduction.

excellent helmet, but.....
i really like the features on this helmet. it's light enough that i don't have neck fatigue. but.......two things. the adjustment rachet slips when i wear my welding cap under the helmet. it just will not hold the adjustment. also, this is my biggest pet peeve.....the helmet should be a bit "deeper". my nose touched the back of the lens. i've tried to adjust the fitment, but no satisfaction. this would be the perfect helmet if it were about 1" "deeper". other than that, i love it.

I bought this welder to start some garage fab projects with my son in the garage. I wanted to teach him how to weld like my dad taught me. I did quite a bit of research and this is definitely the most bang for your buck. I opted for the foot pedal addition and I am more than happy. My son love the stick welder, and so do I. Argon ain’t cheap! Everything has been exceptional except for the size of the torch. That’s my only complaint. I would definitely recommend for light fab use.

I've actually had my welder for quite some time now. And it's been working fantastic and it makes welding so much easier actually makes me a better welder. My first time trying to weld aluminum with the spool gun didn't go so well. I could not get it to select 100% argon in the selections. I reached out to customer support and they help me with an upgrade to the software that I thought I'd already done but apparently I had a bad USB thumb drive redid it with a new thumb drive and it worked perfect and now my venture to learn how to weld aluminum is on its way. Kudos to a great customer support they did not give up until we got it working

Compact plasma cutter for DIY work
No issues other than a first time plasma cutter user learning curve and having to google settings for different thicknesses of metals. The manual doesn't cover it.

I took up welding when I retired fifteen years ago. Mostly self -taught. Bless you tube. I've been through a bunch of different welders. When I got to the Yes Welder Mig 205 DS Pro I stopped. Too many positives to list. The one I love the most, is I check the thickness, I set the speed and the welder does the rest.

I am pleased with this welder. It has been meeting my expectations and I hope it continues to do so. I am only in the first stages of the project I am using it primarly for. I have done some plug welding and welding in a patch on some 20 gauge automotive steel from the late 1960's. If you would like I can go further into detail once this first section is completed. I will have by then have logged much more time on this machine.

I have been using YesWelder products from the very beginning 20 years ago. I have purchased several of their welders over the years and they have all performed flawlessly! My latest purchase was the Firstess DP200, And this welder is a best! The pulse functions work amazing for welding aluminum with the mig gun and graphine liner! I am blown away at the quality of welds on aluminum this welder can achieve. The control is very easy to navigate thru the functions, And the help menu is very handy! I am very impressed with everything about this machine so far. I have never had any issues with my products from YesWelder, But have contacted their customer service department several times over the years with questions about products, And Raymond has always been very helpful and quick to reply with the answers to my questions, Thank you Raymond!
