Pas de téléphone, une adresse mail, à ce jour toujours pas de réponse. Heureusement que j‘avais maintenu mon abonnement chez leur concurrent. Ils m‘ont aidé et après trois jours je suis à nouveau chez eux. Tresorit est cher, lent au possible et il faut le dire, sans support. Allez chez Dropbox ou Proton, ils sont tellement meilleurs.

Ich benutze Tresorit seit fast 10 Jahren als „Professionell“ Account. Über die Jahre hat der Cloud Space beachtliche Fortschritte gemacht. Schnelle, zuverlässige Synchronisation mit guter Apple Integration. Auch die zunehmenden Features sind beachtlich, wenngleich nicht alle gleichermaßen notwendig. Nun passierten zwei Dinge: innert 2 Jahren verdreifachte Gebühren - ok, andere haben auch erhöht. Aufgrund der mittlerweile kompromittierten eigenen E-Mailadresse an der leider der gesamte Account hängt, kann diese nicht einfach in den Einstellungen geändert werden. Alles muss in einen neuen (Test-)Account transferiert werden, der anschließend freigeschaltet werden muss: Genau hier liegt der Haken: Die 06/2026 bezahlte (!) Lizenz für 12 Monate wurde nicht umgeschrieben, der alte Account aber sofort gelöscht. Bislang keine adequate Problemlösung des Supports !!!

Überhaupt ist die lokale App leider sehr unintuitiv, selbst als IT-Spezi such ich mir dauernd einen Wolf wenn ich mal was einstellen will.

It does make me feel more secure, especially when I’m signing in from a new laptop or somewhere I don’t usually log in. That said, the 2FA process can be annoying sometimes. The codes don’t always show up right away, and when I switched phones, the instructions weren’t as clear as they should’ve been. I ended up feeling like I had to figure out parts of it myself, which was frustrating. Overall, I still trust the service and it does what I need it to do. What do you like best about Tresorit? End-to-end encryption of files. Company is based in Europe. Quick upload and download speeds. Easy to install, set up, and configure. Able to sync existing folders instead of having to place all synced files in a single folder. Linux desktop client is available. Well priced for such a comprehensive feature set. What do you dislike about Tresorit? Its Android app's automatic camera upload functionality isn't the most capable or feature rich. For example, it can only upload photos taken from the camera, not images from other folders (eg photos edited using another app on your phone). What problems is Tresorit solving and how is that benefiting you? My primary operating system is Linux and I needed software that would let me sync my files (with end-to-end encryption) between my desktop, laptop, and Android smartphone. Importantly, I didn't just want file storage in the cloud, I wanted full copies of my files to exist on my devices as well (ie not just links to the online versions of those files). Tresorit has a native Linux client, and in my testing of several alternatives, this was the only one that met all my needs. Plus I can now share my files securely with others as well.
I’ve been using Tresorit on my Windows laptop, my iPhone, and sometimes the tablet when I need it. So far it just kind of does what it’s supposed to do, which is nice. Everything syncs without me having to babysit it, and I can open the files wherever I happen to be. Sharing links has been straightforward too, same idea on each device. I wasn’t really expecting to care much about Tresorit, but I’ve been using it for my work folders and, to be fair, it just kind of does its job. I kept running into issues with the access settings, and people on my team couldn’t open files half the time. To be fair, it might make sense once you really learn the system, but for everyday use it felt way more confusing than it needed to be. 0 Reply
Not Great. My clients had terrible difficulty downloading images so I had to create more and more links with smaller and smaller files. Then, I got a notification from a client, not from Tresorit, that I had reached my sharing limit?? I was no where near capacity on the service that I paid for ( 1 yr in advance ). Only then did I discover that I was only allowed a certain number of links. I found the upload speed to be slow btw. My client, therefore could not download the files that they needed. Tresorit came back with - I could wait until the following month for my client to download or I could upgrade to get some more links. This was really unfair, because I was totaly unaware of the link limit, and I was only over the link limit because of the problems I was having. Tresorit CS is clunky. So with 11 months to go I asked for them to close my account and give me a refund thankfully this they have now done. It may be that Tresorit are good for certain businesses, but I think that the issue may have been that my image files are quite large.

I accidentally messed up a work folder and didn’t even realize it until the next day, which was not great. I thought I was going to be stuck redoing everything, but actually, Tresorit’s version history made it simple to go back and pull the older file without much stress. Restoring it was easier than I expected too. I did have to poke around for a minute to find the right version, and I was getting a little annoyed, well, not annoyed exactly, just impatient, but once I found it, the restore worked fine.
