We chose this platform for a collective and none of us are really technologically advanced, but the Sharetribe tech support has been nothing but helpful! Good but basic

A great option if your needs are extremely basic. Not really suitable for international marketplaces though. Transactions on my marketplace go through multiple currency conversions before the money finally hits my account, so I lose about 25% of every sale in currency conversion and fees. Very annoying. Their customer support is very responsive but for major issues like this they can't/don't help.

Sharetribe are outstanding

As a non coder - with an idea for an online marketplace - I searched high and low for an answer. I tried paying people on fiverr & upwork - wasting thousands of dollars - i tried simple wordpress and other sites "in a box", i learned basic coding and played with bubble softrr n zapier n others. Sharetribe is hands down the best solution to get a marketplace up n running. Whenever I've had a problem the team at Sharetribe have always responded, quickly with professionalism and courtesy - best of all they always solved the issue. I genuinely cant recommend them enough. The have a new version of their platform now - & while we're still on "go" we will transition to this soon. I should add we are just a small biz - but I've spoken with a friend of friend who has a thriving biz on sharetribe and they have been able to scale with the biz n platform. Use who you will - but if you're on trustpilot to check their legit - they are : )

5-star support and features release

The no-code option seemed a bit limited at first, but it's actually pretty solid if you take some time to figure out how the platform works (the help center is super comprehensive) and hook up with Zapier. Sharetribe's support has been awesome all along: they walked us through the basics when we started, connected us with Sharetribe Experts when we considered going dev-mode, and gave us more insights when we decided to stick with no-code. What really stands out for us in giving them a 5-star review? The people. Seriously, their support is top-notch. When you reach out to Sharetribe, you're talking to real folks, not some automated response with links to random articles. They actually take the time to understand what you're dealing with and give you straightforward explanations, plus smart suggestions. YES! Thank you, really. Plus, just after about a month of building our marketplace, they introduced a new feature that goes exactly in the direction of what we needed. My honest experience with sharetribe.

My honest experience with sharetribe. Firstly after only a few days we suddenly realised if you need to do anything from simple domain configuration to anything at all related to simple customisation even adding badges or anything you will pay more and i mean a lot more. You are better off in our opinion building a site yourself for 2 to 5k after only 1 year it would have cost you at least 3k with sharetribe based on there base plan that they require you to sign to have your own domain name. Then it gets WORSE a lot worse they have lost half od our hard work all data see below there email and my response and no hello at the beginning just a CHEERS at the end arrogance. The changes in your Live marketplace have been overridden with a content copy operation from test to live at 2024-04-08T16:08:22.557Z. This content copy was triggered when you pressed the "Copy changes to Live" button in your test environment. Unfortunately, we can't restore the data when the admin user has performed it. To prevent similar issues in the future, we strongly recommend reviewing the changes you want to update and only selecting changes you are willing to override in your Live environment. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns! First and foremost, I must emphasize my disbelief and utter disappointment in the lack of consideration for our valuable data. The fact that there was no prior message or notification alerting users that their data might be lost during the content copy operation is simply unacceptable. As a user, I expect transparency and accountability from your team, neither of which was demonstrated in this instance. Furthermore, the statement that "we can't restore the data when the admin user has performed it" is utterly baffling. It implies a complete disregard for the integrity of the data and a lack of contingency plans for such situations. It is inconceivable that a platform of your stature does not have measures in place to prevent irreversible data loss caused by user actions. This negligence reflects poorly on your professionalism and competence in managing sensitive information. I find it deeply concerning that the responsibility is shifted onto the users to prevent similar incidents in the future. While I understand the importance of reviewing changes before updating them in the Live environment, it is ultimately your responsibility as the service provider to implement safeguards and procedures to prevent such catastrophic errors. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that adequate measures are put in place to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Additionally, I expect a formal apology and an explanation detailing the steps you will take to regain our trust and prevent further data loss incidents. Please consider this letter as a formal complaint and a request for urgent resolution of this matter. Impeccable customer service!

Impeccable customer service! Sharetribe has always gotten back to me within 24 hours or less (even though we're on opposite sides of the planet) whenever we had a question or issue. They are always helpful and have never made us feel like we were a burden. They even got back to us over a weekend when we were having a technical issue with our marketplace! I really can't recommend them enough.

Absolutely fantastic

The Sharetribe team has been absolutely fantastic throughout my entire journey. Whenever I had questions or needed guidance, they were there for me every step of the way. I felt like I was in good hands, and it made the process so much smoother. Sharetribe's connections with developers is also a great plus. If you're starting from scratch like I did, having access to their network of skilled developers is a game-changer. Their platform is user-friendly, and the team behind it is simply incredible. Sharetibe Helps To Reduce Risk

We had built a previous custom marketplace which required a significant inventment which increased the risk. Sharetribe allowed us to start building Bunking with a limited investment and risk until we could find product market fit. We use Marketplace Studio, one of their development partners to add custom development which we can do almost by module/feature, which again, helps us reduce risk.
