This is a great duvet insert. Warm but not too warm and large enough to fit my California king duvet cover. Feels plush like a hotel comforter and the feathers are evenly distributed.

The Best Comforter Ever
I was skeptical of buying a down comforter as someone who sleeps hot with two cats and a husband who also sleeps hot. I was incorrect. This is the nicest comforter I've ever bought and I'll never be able to go back. It is so warm but cooling at the same time. I have never overheated while sleeping under it. It is soft, cushy, and so nice to sleep with. It is heavy for a blanket (we got a california king) but it's perfect. No smell like other comments stated. It does make a little noise but a duvet cover definitely helps with that along with adding a little extra protection. I live in the high desert with hot summers and cold winters, it is perfect for that and everything in between. Additionally, it is affordable. Highly recommend :)

Horrible customer service I returned this blanket 2 months ago and still have not recieved my refund. I’ve called multiple times no one answers, they don’t answer the emails either. Absolutely atrocious, 200$ down the drain.

Out with the Old...but not by choice

Hot sleeper
My husband is a very hot sleeper and any blanket, sheet or down insert is too hot for him. We stayed in a hotel that had puredown bedding that we loved so I went to their website to see options and found the ultra cooling down comforter which has been so great for him yet somehow keeps me warm enough. It’s like magic! I deducted one star because over time the material in the comforter clumps together (we have dogs so I wash our often). It didn’t stop me from buying a second one for our RV.

I got one for myself 3-4 years ago in dark blue color, then last winter for my mother gray color. We love it so much. After washing a lot of times nothing changes. Very light weight. Soft warm but lumpy
I do love this comforter. I bought one for myself and one for my son. I’ve had to wash my sons quite a bit (potty training), and the inside got pretty lumpy even washing and drying it as suggested.

Decent Quality Smells bad and Large Tag on the Comforter
I purchased the pink twin all season - not planning on covering it up with a duvet. The smell was so bad I had to wash it several times to get rid of it. We do not like the enormous tag on the outside of it - puredown can do better putting their logo on the item with out having to put this massive tag on there - we will have to try and cut it off with out ruining the seams.

I recently received our new feather pillows. My husband detests new pillows. He gets very upset when I change out our pillows, and complains. However!! Once his head hit his new feather pillow from Pure Down, he instantly began reminiscing about pillows he had like this from childhood. He loves his new pillow, as I do too. And they fluff up to full form on the morning when I make the bed. I’m working on replacing all out pillows in the spare bedrooms .
