I ordered two products advertised as "credit card" sized, and when I received them, they both were actually as thick as 3-4 credit cards. Same height and width, but the depth was 300% - 400% greater than advertised, to the point where my wallet looked like a book stuck in my back pocket. Asked for refund, and I had to email back and forth at least 6-7 times, and was required to wait until I returned the product for the company's inspection in order to get a "refund". But it wasn't a refund. The taxes and shipping, which constituted about 20% of the price, were not refunded and, when I asked about it, I was informed that this is their "policy". So the product sucked, the customer service return mechanism took more time than returning a thousand dollar crockpot, and the refund was for 80%. If you want a shitty product and return it in perfect condition without getting your money back, have at it. Then this is your company.

I personally purchased a wallet a year and a half ago, and since then I've owned several, some for collection, and some because I've given them as gifts. So far, the signs of wear are minimal, and they get tossed around a lot between my backpack and pants pockets. Despite everything, they're holding up. The graphics are beautiful, and when I buy them, I feel like I'm contributing in some way to the art and dreams of those behind them. :) I also purchased the special paper to find the wallet in case I lose it. A few months ago, I gave the Japanese-themed blind box to a friend's family, and they were very well received. I've noticed that the quality of the product has improved significantly in a very short time.

Good and minimal
I’ve been using the Micro wallet for over a year now, it shows a few signs of wear but it’s still strong. Super practical, easy to carry, and I really like the artist collaborations they keep doing. I recently picked up a Passport Wallet too and have been enjoying it so far, lightweight, cool, good if you travel a lot.

Not Fit for Use
This wallet is beautiful. For about a week. And then the material loosens up and all of the cards just fall out. Throw it in your purse? Everything falls out. Toss it on the counter? Everything falls out. Take it out of your pocket at a restaurant? Everything falls out. It does not function as a wallet. It cost $100 to get two wallets to Canada. I might have just taken a $100 bill and lit it on fire.

I wish I would’ve seen this before I ordered. The quality is terrible for what you get. I opened it and immediately packaged it back to send back. Followed instructions on their website and I just got a notification that the address they have is wrong so now I have to pay to send it again. The customer service is absolutely awful!

Misleading, Shady, Bad Quality
Misleading advertisements & false claims of durability. Wallets do not hold up over time, bend/rip/crinkle/fade rather quickly. Cards fall out of slots. Customer service also shady and slow to respond. Really disappointed because the designs are so cute. But unfortunately, it's just overpriced origami.

Arguably the worst wallet ever
Arguably the worst wallet ever. A little pressure and it snapped! I had not fully loaded the wallet there were a total of 4 cards inserted when it did the one thing supposed to be guaranteed not too. It ripped in multiple places. You are much better off buying mightywallet its half the cost still tyvek holds more than 2 freakin crards and offer returns or refunds when they screw up. They flat out will not give me my momey back only a replacement. But if the 40$ wallet ripped once would it not again?? Just want my money back and to never buy ANYTHING from them again.

Price lower in Incognito and Package Never Arrives
Used them back when they were a Kickstarter, however, now they're just another classic company that cut their customer service department in favor of getting their stakeholders more money. Not only do they charge you $55 on a regular browser but $33 in an incognito browser, my package has been lost for over a month and they had the nerve to say "If there are any further issues or the package does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist further." LOL what?! You boast about how thin it is, it should be able to fit in a regular envelope, how does it take a month to ship? Nah fam.

Nice but flawed and shows wear VERY quickly
have the micro wallet with RFID, 4 weeks in it shows a lot of wearing marks on the edges. Further, I don't have it fully packed but it still doesn't close fully when laid onto flat surface. It's somewhat nice but too pricey for how quickly it wears down. Will go back to leather once it's done.

They have told me to contact DHL for an order that has taken over a month to be delivered to Ireland - I have tried contacting both DHL US and DHL Germany, but no response. No help was offered from Paperwallet whatsoever, and no response to a request for a refund entirely. I was a loyal customer for many years, will do my best to warn anyone else from making the same mistake I did ordering from them.

Terrible customer service. My order was delivered to the wrong address and I have tried to reach out to them several times but with no response. I contacted DHL and they told me that I need to contact the vendor directly. After a week still no replies from PaperWallet I was a loyal customer, I contributed to the Kickstarter campaign and they lost me now.

Be careful when you order, prepare to pay a big tax at the post office when you will receive the wallet. Edit after 3 years : the wallet is already damaged even if I used it with a lot of care. The quality isn’t good enough to last several years unfortunately.

Poor quality and awful customer service
I have been using Tyvek wallets for over 10 years from a couple of different brands. I really like it as it is small and still super strong. However, the wallet I got from paperwallet was definitely not as strong as the other Tyvek wallets I had. I would have give them 3 stars, if they did not make a very costly mistake when shipping their wallet to me (in the UK). Instead of putting the price I paid for the wallets (after discount) they put the original price of the wallet. This mean that I had to pay custom tax (50% of the price I paid). I talked to their support and ask them to change their misleading website info (where they say you will likely not pay for custom) but they never did. So because of their awful customer support, I would recommend to buy from a company that actually cares about their customer. I ordered two wallets (on sale) from this site and because of a mistake they made (they printed the full amount (before discount) on the parcel), I had to pay custom taxes (50% of the price I paid!). If they would have written the amount I actually paid, I would not have had to pay these taxes. I wrote to them to explain them their mistakes and

I've been a fan of Tyvek wallets for over a decade, trying out a few different brands along the way. I really dig how compact they are while still being super durable. But the wallet I received from paperwallet was nowhere near as tough as the other Tyvek ones I've owned. I would’ve given them a 3-star rating, but they made a really expensive blunder when sending my wallet to me in the UK. Instead of listing the discounted price I paid, they put the original price on the package. This meant I had to cough up custom tax, which was 50% of what I actually paid. I reached out to their support team to ask them to fix their misleading website info (where they claim you probably won’t incur customs), but they never bothered to respond. So, due to their lousy customer service, I’d suggest buying from a company that actually values its customers.
