Ho comprato ottocast i3 una vera bufala,una delusione massima,accompagnata da una latitante presenza e supporto ottocast.un prodotto che non vale neanche un caffè.se dovessi consigliare questo prodotto direi bocciato…..—non compratelo.\
Dashcam mit CarPlay. Leider ist die 2K Auflösung viel zu gering. In der Bedienung ist die Kamera zu kompliziert. Nicht empfehlenswert!!
Venerdì 21/08 ho ordinato due articoli sul sito Ottocast.it pagandoli di più (rispetto ad Ottocast.com) per averli entro i 3 giorni lavorativi come indicato nella pagina dei prodotti, perchè dovevo partire. Lunedì 24/08 creano l'etichetta e mi arriva mail UPS per consegna il 25/08. Il 25/08 vedo sul sito UPS che deve ancora partire ed inizio a preoccuparmi. Chiedo informazioni ma non sanno dirmi quando parte il mio ordine. Annullo quindi l'ordine, chiedendo immediato rimborso e loro mi danno conferma scritta che non era partito e che avrebbero annullato. Alla sera invece mi arriva mail da UPS che l'ordine è partito e la consegna è stata riprogrammata per il giorno 26/08 dalle 9÷13. A metà mattina del 26/08 vado sul sito UPS e nel tracking dice che il materiale è fermo al centro smistamento della mia città in giacenza per futura spedizione. Contatto il supporto Ottocast indicando il tracking UPS ed allegando anche screenshot e capisco definitivamente che c'è un sistema di risposta automatica (sicuramente tramite AI) che non controlla le informazioni che si danno e che continua a rispondere nel medesimo modo all'infinito dicendo invece che il materiale non è partito e che devo controllare il sito UPS ed aspettare la fine della "procedura". Aperta segnalazione a PayPal che diventerà reclamo per avere il rimborso. Il prodotto forse sarà anche ottimo, ma il supporto è veramente pessimo oltre al fatto che così facendo prolungano volontariamente le tempistiche per il rimborso dovuto!

Excellent service, and a good product
Edit: after posting this review I received an email from ottocast saying they would cover the cost of shipping, once they realised how costly it was they decided they no longer needed the faulty product back to send me a new one. Yet to receive the new one yet but I will be sure to update the review once received and have been able to try another to see if it will actually work. Concept is great and the camera was excellent, when it worked. However, it rarely worked. Transmitter constantly over heated (it was physically hot to touch and would flash blue and not work). I followed all the steps they requested me to try and was patient. They sent a special cable to try and still no luck (they said these cables are required, if that were the case why not supply it with the product?). It got to the point that the transmitter has completely ‘blown’ now and won’t even turn on when plugged in, it actually ‘trips’ the usb port power and turns my car port off (brand new car). Customer service have now suggested sending a new product as this one seems to be faulty but will not send one until the faulty one is returned which is understandable. What is not understandable is the expectation that I need to outlay the shipping cost to return it. Although it is an insignificant cost it’s the expectation that their customer has to spend more money (and time!) to receive a product that works, which should have worked in the first place. I wouldn’t waste your money on this brand, its design is not great and the customer service is poor.

I originally loved this product. When it works, it works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do. However, after less than a year of use, my unit developed a clear hardware defect—the internal Wi-Fi transmitter failed, rendering the device useless. After contacting support and providing clear video evidence of the failure, the company acknowledged that this is indeed a manufacturing defect and that it is fully covered under their one-year warranty. That is where the positive experience ends. Despite admitting the product is defective and that I am well within the warranty period, they refuse to send a replacement device until I pay out-of-pocket to ship the defective unit back to them. It is incredibly frustrating to be expected to pay for shipping and handling for a product that failed due to no fault of my own. Penalizing the customer for a manufacturer's failure by forcing them to cover the return costs is poor practice. If you are considering this product, be aware that if it fails, you will be the one stuck paying to fix their mistake.
Sono veramente deluso, ho acquistato il prodotto il 7 agosto e oggi siamo il 22 agosto e non hanno ancora spedito, ho mandato svariati email e ricevo sempre una risposta automatica, ho chiesto il rimborso e non vogliano accettare, mi hanno detto di aspettare.
Ho acquistato ottocast play 2 sperando di smartizzare il mio dispositivo auto non di serie purtroppo non è compatibile,non ha istallato CARPLAY di serie. Dopo contatti con assistente ha confermato la non compatibilità con il mio dispositivo, purtroppo . Peccato ottimo supporto 👍
Consistent automatic connection once the car is started. Stable connection during utilization. The device turns itself off once the engine is stopped which is a plus. It does what it says on the tin. So far, happy customer here!

I've had a terrible time connecting the otto cast to my F150. I've had it now over a week and it still isn't connected continuously. It's been a disappointment.And I had such high hopes. It said that it was so easy to connect and it definitely isn't.Directions were not included in the packaging.
This car play adapter is by far the best one I have purchased (#3). The most annoying thing about my car was the fact that the previous adapters never connected consistently, and after a week of use, this one has 100% of the time. I’m very glad I purchased this and would recommend to everyone.
Adapter was easy to set up and works great! Design is clean and compact, so it doesn’t stand out too much. Connects quickly and no noticeable lag or delay when using CarPlay. Shipping took a little longer than I anticipated but no major delays or issues.
Difficult to get to work properly. It could be me.
Product does not transfer any data to my vehicles screen.

All good product works perfectly and Intructions were easy to follow and set it up. Minor grope on the tine it took to post as it wasn't clear on the order that despatch was direct from China.

It took a long time to get here from China. It was worth the wait, works perfectly so far.
The product is awesome. Does exactly what is says on the tin. Works flawlessly and so much better than having wires everywhere. The ordering process was easy and smooth too. Although I do thing delivery could have been quicker. Still a thumbs up 👍🏻

Plugged product into into the USB port in my vehicle and before I could pair it to my phone the unit was so hot had to unplug before it caused damage to my vehicle product is unusable
After changing the startup delay it works fine. Before the start up took quite some time but now I am happy with my purchase.
Works fine, kind of a pain to set up, at least in my ford f-150. About an hour so with chat gpt, we got it. They should have a app, that would make airplay sync so much easier
Device is crap, audi s3 8v, take 5 mins to connect each time, have to tell the car to connect to it, cant control the music on the interface

This does not work to connect my Samsung Galaxy S22+ to my 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. Very disappointing.
Does not setup as per instructions but did eventually work. Update: Despite the initial difference in setup the U2Air Pro has continued to work as advertised in my car (Porsche) using Apple Carplay. However as this is not my daily driver it has only been used several times. Also, it was shipped from mainland China but arrived within a few days. As such, I have increased my review score by 1 star. (The company has recently contacted me and advised they were sorry for my experience and offered me a free wireless charger.)
Fast 300€ für Elektronikschrott bezahlt. Ottocast 3AI Box Leider konnte ich meine Box krankheitsbedingt erst nach 30 Tagen ausprobieren. Hier mein Fazit: Die Box funktioniert mal mal nicht, wie sie eigentlich möchte. (vorher hatte ich eine Billigversion eines anderen Herstellers die Flüssig lief und das machte, was sie tun sollte,) was man von diesem Premium Produkt überhaupt nicht behaupten kann! Ständige Verbindungsabbrüche, die Flüssigkeit des scrollen, kann man mit den ersten Handys mit Touch vergleichen! Bei Musik hören hört es sich an, als wenn man einen Sack Muscheln schüttelt! Die einzigste App, die immer das tut, was sie tun soll, ist die Aufforderung zum abschließen einer eSIM! Ohne die die Sprachsteuerung auch nicht mehr funktioniert! Ich wollte mein Gerät zurückgeben, aber da ich erst nach 30 Tagen den Probelauf starten konnte, war die Zeit natürlich abgelaufen. Ich habe noch nie so viel Geld für so viel Schrott ausgegeben.

I bought the ottocast mini 3.0 after reading and looking at a lot of information mainly because I did buy an inferior quality and cheaper item that promised to do all of what ottocast does but at a smaller price but was a complete waste of time and money. The ottocast is very easy to install, only takes a couple of minutes before your up and running. I've had it now for around 3 weeks and it's worked perfectly. By the time you start your car and put your seat belt on it's already up and running. I've had no connection problems and maps run smoothly. Calls are clear and easy to make. Music streams with great quality on play back. All in all rear the reviews and do a little homework but I would totally recommend this to you 100%

This was such a good purchase. Every time I see facebook ads for products like this I’m always worried it’s scam. But this adapter for cell phone to carplay via Bluetooth has been perfect. It connects immediately and seamlessly with my car and plays flawlessly. I am so happy to have it!

Ottocast does what it promises to do. It brings wireless Apple Car Play to drivers who have an older vehicle that normally requires a wired USB connection. I hesitated to give 5 stars only because it took me a few days to figure out how to get Apple Car Play to show on the screen of my vehicle when I was connected to the Ottocast. On my vehicle I had to periodically go into to settings/bluetooth/carplay to connect. Now that I know to do this on the rare occasions when Carplay does not show even though I am connected on my phone, Most of the time the device, phone and car all talk to one another as soon as I get in the car.
It doesnt connect straight away, cignet one i got is way better and faster. Never fails to connect
The product didnt work, i couldn connect with my Samsung Galaxy S26 to the android auto app
