Dealing with customer support chatbots is usually a headache, but this was the complete opposite. I reached out about my annual Lumen membership, and within just a few quick prompts, the chatbot seamlessly applied a 50% discount to my renewal. When I ordered the lumen I made sure that I did not subscribe to any memberships or subscriptions because I had seen numerous complaints about them charging people ongoing fees. Well here we are now,, fighting with the company to give me my $179 refund for a subscription I never agreed to! The tool never worked for me so it hardly was used on top of all that. Very frustrating!!!!! Update: They have responded and told me they will refund my money. We shall see. This was after several emails back and forth. If they refund my money I will again edit my review or remove it.
Knowing the exact time of my fat burn fast to stop. Carbs, protein, fats all in one spot not everywhere 😋 💪

Really great! But the meal plan etc does not make sense because the app does not know your biometrics so when it suggests x amount of carbs for example, it does not make sense as it is way too much for someone with my height and weight

The product itself is fine, but unfortunately, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. As an affiliate who has promoted their products, I am still owed commission payments that they have failed to pay. I’ve contacted them multiple times to resolve the issue, but despite my efforts, I have received no satisfactory response or payment. Very frustrating and not the level of customer service I would expect from a company I’ve supported and promoted.
Only been using it one week, so to early to tell. The app has helped me keep my macros and total calories in check though.
So far easy to use and has good meal tracking features.

Terrible customer service. Last year in September, I paid in advance nearly $400 for the next generation device (Lumen Pro) which is many months overdue being shipped, and now they are saying, “end of year.” There have been multiple delays. Meantime, my current device is no longer functioning. They ask me to buy a replacement at a discount while I wait for a device I’ve already paid for and is delayed by their own fault. Nuts! I’ve asked for a refund (and update: I did receive it promptly). Incredibly poor way to treat a long standing (and patient; now former) customer. I’ve re-rated them up to “Meh-minus.” Never should have happened this way. But at least they solved it.
It makes me more aware of my food intake and kitchen work.

Using this app has been very ilLUMENating! Helping me track and understand macros to better regulate my health - great daily assistant, easy to use, and encouraging.
Nice product that worked easily from the get go. Clear instructions and love the graphics that help me understand my own metabolism.

Have only had lumen for a few days now, but i do love it. It really helps teach me, make me aware of what my body is doing. I have always been a fan of scientific instruments, lol But right now i'm currently fasting and changing my diet, so it's interesting and helpful to use.

My experience with Lumen has been just okay. My order wasn’t processed in a timely manner and was only resolved, albeit promptly, after I notified customer service. I will say that customer service handled my issue promptly and professionally. That said, I actually like Lumen device a lot. Its app software is intuitive and informative. I’m looking forward to better understanding how to change my overall health from it.
Had an issue with my subscription billing and they were quite understanding and offered a great solution. Super helpful!
I highly appreciate my Lumen for the tool it is, as it helps me visualize when I should not consume carbs. The app has educated me on the terms that matter to my weight loss, i.e, mitochondria and glycogen. The education on the Lumen app alone has laid a better foundation for a healthier lifestyle beginning at my plate to effectuate change before going to the gym.Lumen is changing my weight loss and healthy lifestyle journeys one breath at a time!

I am learning what helps or hinders my metabolism in going from a carb burning engine to a fat burning engine. I have cut carbs down significantly, combined intermittent fasting to achieve significant weight loss and improved health.

The app has gotten substantially better since I first purchased and started using the device. I misplaced it for a while and didn’t really miss it since I wasn’t learning much of value. But I found it again & thought “why not?” I really like the changes / updates to the app and tips it provides. It still doesn’t seem to help make clear connections to food consumed. So I may stop using that portion since it’s time consuming without providing much value beyond personal tracking. But perhaps it will be improved in the future
The device itself seems to work okay if your patient and follow the eating. Its simply an expensive tool to collect data. That being said, it is so difficult yo cancel i actually ended up not getting it canceled 2 yrs in a row ($300 each yr). The app cancel membership didnt work. This yeah it still didnt work but I was super persistent with them and FINALLY got it canceled. They block what you can post in the FB group (nothing negative). So, decide is fine, company is absolutely shady and will trap you into a very expensive membership that will be near impossible to cancel.
Takes a while to get the breath right
When I first started using Lumen I lost 20 pounds following its nutrition plan and my metabolism improved tremendously. Then something changed. I remember there was an app update and it changed my nutrition plan to something unmanageable. I think AI was used to make adjustments and it stopped working for me. I stopped enjoying using it. My metabolism score also dropped. Whatever they had in the beginning was perfect. Anyway, I gave it 3 stars because it initially did help me. I sort of stopped trusting the nutritional guidance. I started using Noom and it’s much more realistic and dynamic (real time macro changes).

To whom it may concern I am extremely pleased with Lumen. My husband and I am pleased with the service that has been provided for us. My daughter signed up and bought a Lumen and I was having trouble getting her my code and immediately one of the reps took care of it and applied my two free months and my daughter got her $40 credit to her account immediately you guys are awesome love Lumen and I will forward to other friends of mine to get it. thank you very much too. The rep who helped me his name is MOHN not sure how to spell it, but he was amazing and very, very helpful. Thank you again and I can’t wait to pass on this tool to my other friends.
Accountability increases and makes you take the better choices

It is user friendly and helpful. I no longer use the calorie tracking because it wasn’t reading my meals properly or recognizing my foods. Many barcodes were not found. I wish you could scan a recipe and it would be able to log the food in portions as well. For example I make my own chia seed pudding every morning and protein balls and I can’t scan the recipes for those.
I’ve just completed my 8th day on Lumen and already I’m beginning to feel healthier. I love the science behind Lumen and as retired engineer I relish the challenge of working within the daily nutrition limits to plan my meals an exercise routine. I feel like I’m finally in control of my weight loss. Each day I look forward to breathing into my Lumen to see the results of my hard work and learn what more I can do to improve my metabolism. The meal suggestions are very useful, however I wish they included cooking instructions and not just the list of ingredients.
It’s an interesting device. I’m still in the beginning stages of figuring out my metabolic flexibility, so I can’t yet tell you if it is effective for losing weight.
Helps me to understand my body and metabolism
Today I engaged with the Metaboli_bot customer support feature. Within seconds I had an answer to my question. In addition I learned that I was not the only one who was concerned and that the product team would be informed. That's AI working for both customer and service provider! Love my Lumen 💕
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting and keto off and on for a while. My assumption was once fat or keto adapted I needed to stay there. I’ve learned recently about metabolic flexibility and the lumen helped me understand why without eating carbs I was 65 or so percent after being 95 before the training. Valuable insight.
