Easy to set up and use

Easy to set up and use and it allowed my to register a £900 CGT loss with HMRC for a previous tax year. My only gripe is the AI Chat bot is typically useless when you want help.

Koinly, great tool for tax report

I´m using Koinly since several years to make my tax report for crypto ! It´s great to use. I tried another tool (coin tr...) but found out, that Koinly is more clear and easier to use than the other tool. Great tool !!! An additional App für iphone would be nice, but not urgently needed !! This tool ist high´ly recommende

koinly caters to more advanced users, and does a good job

koinly is the product that I have chosen to assist me with my crypto taxes. I believe it is optimized for crypto users who are maybe slightly, to much more advanced, than those just using CEX's. discerning people who actually look at their year in crypto, line by line, may find that it is a good tool for that. I would not recommend that anyone who uses outside wallets, defi, etc, just click "generate return" and call it a day, but koinly makes it so it's not such a crazy, negative, and frustrating experience getting your crypto taxes done as accurately as possible. The AI tool gets better as you feed it more data and get more specific with your questions. the live support is not "live", but as long as you are not trying to to your return on Oct 10th, people will get back to you within a day or so, and they are very helpful. koinly has helped someone like me, who actually takes the time to make sure their return is legit, achieve satisfactory results.

Although support is amazingly helpful

Although support is amazingly helpful, my portfolio is completely wrong over the past 5 years and unable to track everything correctly. My balances are all out and I doubt they’re accurate in lots of things. I’ve put in a good 100+ hours trying to correct it but it’s still a shambles.

I've been contacted by several people…

I've been contacted by several people who claim that they are from Blockchain support and all telling me different stories about my account and I'm finding it hard who to believe and that I'm going through cancer treatment for my prostate cancer I know that there are scammers out there but I'm finding it hard who to believe about my account and Now I'm being threatened by Sabrina of Blockchain support that they are going to terminate my account this is bullying and intimidating why are they doing this to me and at the moment I'm finding it hard to raise the money that they want to activate the account but legally it doesn't matter how long the account has been inactive I shouldn't have to pay anything for the activation of the money Many thanks Paul Glander

Koinly kinda saved my ass

When I first got into the wild West of crypto, I was like a headless chicken making trades on a million different platforms with no understanding of the tax implications. My tax numbers arewildy wrong

My tax numbers arecwildy wrong. Its been so frustrating and the help names are not useful at all. My account shiws me gaving 270 litecoin and 98 veritaseum, when i have 20 of lite and 42 of veri. My tax orofit fir 2020 shows $25,000 when i could have made $6k maybe...and my cost vase shows $77,000 and more lijely 15 to 25k max

Koinly Review

The AI bot was very helpful and provided me with the information that I needed to correct miscalculated transactions. When I had an issue that required human support, Koinly responded to my emails within a day. The tax reports page on Koinly gives you all the information that you need to monitor the income that you made. The tax plans are not expensive and the tax forms that Koinly provides you are all that you need to do your crypto taxes. Overall my experience with Koinly has been positive.

Koinly simplified my Self assessment

I was contacted by HMRC, for outstanding crypto taxes and i needed to submit a Self assessment for 3 years back dated. I was very apprehensive i couldn't afford a big tax bill or an accountact. I used Chatgpt and Koinly, Koinly did all my bills and gave me itemised transactions really easy not what i expected. Once i got the 3 different years tax forms from Koinly and used chatgpt to fill in the self assessment, I was actually owed a substantial amount of money. Now i am up to date with my taxes and feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest.

life saver

I had originally used another that was complicated and abandoned customers with no warning. Koinly saved me just in time. I send my Koinly generated forms to my accountant and my return comes back 2 days later. No reconciling. Koinly is a life saver. This year there is a new form and customer service handled my questions. No problem.

520 page excel worksheet

I had a 520 page excel worksheet with no 1099 summary on the Sales, gains, losses and the such. I tried the IRS transcripts that was 674 pages! Really WTF was I suppose to do with this?? In 10 minutes I had all I needed to report for taxes. This was Amazing!! Thank you so much Koinly!!

Excellent Support and an Easy-to-Use Platform

Hi, I'm a Koinly user, and my experience with Koinly has been very positive. First of all, the UI is very simple and beginner friendly, which makes everything easy to understand and use. I didn't have to spend time figuring things out, and that's something I really liked. Second, the number of supported blockchains and CEXs is incredible. I have transactions across many different blockchains and CEXs, and I couldn't find another platform that supported almost all of them in one place. Then I found Koinly while asking an AI for recommendations, and when I saw that it supported almost everything I needed, I immediately thought, "This is exactly the platform I've been looking for." Now comes the best part of my experience. Even though Koinly supported almost all of my blockchains, there was one that wasn't supported. At first, I was a little confused about how I was going to import those transactions. So I contacted the Koinly support team, and honestly, I can't even describe how helpful they were. They guided me through the whole process, answered every question I had, and made everything so much easier. I genuinely didn't expect that level of support, and I really appreciate the time and effort they put into helping me. I also used Fin AI, and it was really helpful whenever I had quick questions. It saved me time and made using the platform even easier. Overall, I'm really impressed with Koinly. The platform, the support team, and Fin AI have all made the experience much much better.

Been using this platform for years

Been using this platform for years. It is a great platform when you have simple transactions. When things get complicated you have to rely on their customer support. Thats when things begin to get dicey. Their AI is ok for helping but if it doesn't help you then you have to wait for customer service staff. I have been dealing with an issue now for about a week. My issue hasn't been resolved with speaking to 3 customer service staff. I have asked to speak to a manager and now this is my second day waiting for another response. If I were just starting out, I would look around for other platforms to tell you the truth.
