Hairclub Burlington…

I have been using Hairclub Burlington Canada for almost 8 months now, and I see a significant improvement overall in my hair and scalp. My stylist Zara Ballnour goes above and beyond. She is one of the best stylists I have come across and always does a fabulous job. She always gives that magic touch to my hair, and she is very knowledgeable about the EXT program. I am overall very satisfied with their services and would recommend them any day.

Save Your Money, I t doesn’t work.

Hair Club was very expensive with little to no results. Maybe it is better for men, but I can’t see any difference in my hair. I was told when I signed the contract and gave them thousands of dollars that my hair was a candidate because I still had active follicles, it didn’t. I was also told that, if it didn’t grow, I could put the money toward a wig only to find that they don’t make wigs. I am writing this review to save others from being scammed like I was. If you want a wig or prosthetic I recommend doing your research and finding a company that specializes in quality wigs. If you want to regrow your hair, you should check with a dermatologist. I learned a VERY expensive lesson about hair and doing my research.

Scam. Deceptive. How is this company still in business?

This is a scam. I don’t know how this isn’t fraud. You will never get a refund; There is no incentive to provide decent service and it shows. They are deceptive. Every single promise The consultant tells you and the website “guarantees” absolutely does not happen. You’re told to provide days to make an appointment and that a scheduler will contact you- They can’t even do that simple task. Weeks later, after numerous emails asking the consultant when my appointment would be made, they picked random days a month beyond what I was told. The website and consultant tells you it’s real hair that blends and looks natural, but they use synthetics. It looked absolutely ridiculous. I could’ve looked better if I purchased Cheap party store wig. They glued a piece of crap onto my head that was tall and cylindrical like Frankenstein with a huge gap in the front. They cut the hairpiece so 50% of it was huge bangs like Peggy Bundy- they were even crooked. Their website says you can swim in it or a NASCAR driver can wear it and remove a helmet numerous times. I went to Hobby lobby and a grocery store, and within an hour of application it was peeling away from the front of my head and It pulls your hair out. When you call customer service, they gaslight you and they blame the Customer for the bad experience . I was told that I looked happy in my photo. When I said, I would share my experience, he raised his voice with me and accused me of threatening him and said he wouldn’t respond to threats. I asked for a refund numerous times to numerous people. They absolutely refuse. Their Promise to “have the look you want in one session“ and “Satisfaction guarantee” isn’t that you’ll get a refund, it Is them forcing you to forfeit your money or to continue doing business with them no matter how terrible their services are. Once again, I don’t know how this Isn’t fraud and no idea how this company is still in business

Problem getting appointments

First, I want to say I was very pleased with the Estrand process. My problem was with the administration and appointments. I was told on several occasions I would be called and given an appointment because nothing was available when I checked out. Sometimes two months would go by and I would end up calling. The final example is I had an appointment in June. It was cancelled and asked if I could come the next week which I couldn't because I would be away. I was told I would be called back by the end of the day with an appointment. It is now September 1st and I have heard nothing. I say final because I don't plan on returning even though I'm still paying.

Misleading Practices and Poor Customer…

Misleading Practices and Poor Customer Service at Hair Club I recently had a very negative experience with Hair Club in Virginia Beach, specifically regarding the purchase of an Xtrallux Turbo Pro 316 laser device. Firstly, the product itself was not as described. The cap was far too large for my head, making it ineffective and impractical to use. I contacted Hair Club about this issue and while a manager was initially supportive, the follow-up communication did not provide any helpful solutions. Secondly, I discovered a significant and concerning price discrepancy. I purchased the device for $2,099.30 (net), but it is now listed on the Xtrallux website for only $1,299. This drastic price reduction, advertised for the same month I bought the product, feels incredibly misleading. To make matters worse, the Hair Club failed to inform me of their "No Refund/No Return" policy. This policy was not on my receipt, nor was it verbally disclosed. This lack of transparency contradicts their advertised "satisfaction guarantee" and the Xtrallux 6-month satisfaction guarantee. I have attempted to resolve this with Hair Club directly, but my concerns have not been adequately addressed. I am extremely disappointed with the product, the misleading pricing, and the poor customer service. I would not recommend purchasing from this Hair Club location.

HairClub change in policy

HairClub in San Antonio, TX is fabulous. The stylists are wonderful and great customer service is evident when you walk in. I've been going there for several years. Recently there was a change in the company though. The hair systems lack quality, they're charging more and I'm really ticked off that after paying for the system and wearing it, I can't take it home if there's any use left in it. I've been able to up until about 6 months ago. I paid for it; it is mine. What a stupid policy. There is competition out there and I'll be looking.

Terribly unprofessional place

Terribly unprofessional place! They wasted 3 hrs of my time (2 travel and 1 waiting inside 3 rooms), all -for nothing. I could not believe it what i heard: "Sorry, we can not take you now...". What, Why did you send me 10 reminders to come leading to this appointment- just to reject me once i was there? Why did not you cancel the appointment before it happened? Clueless bunch of unfocused, unprofessional morons. And I am supposed to give them access to my hair & folicles and what not? Who will reimburse me for my 3 lost hours? If you wish to wait, waste your time, get terrible service and high prices, including undisclosed fees- come to HairClub for man. Despicable!

My husband is almost a 20 year member and after his last appointment his hair looked absolutely nothing like his & like it was 6 months old without being changed and all grey. He's had to cancel several appointments and wear hats after they just had another price increase. This has never happened before even during Covid. What's next?

I have been with hair club for over 2…

I have been with hair club for over 2 years. I just cancelled yesterday. They took a mold at first and said they order custom pieces. I had hair transplants so this was important to me because I had hair up front. A narrow patch but hair up front. They quit using that after a couple months From then on they would try to fit standard made pieces and it never fit right crinkles all through it. I had to always wear hat. I have been a client since 2004 at the Oakbrook Terrace location. I made it to a senior citizen at 77 years. But in the three years it is becoming too costly to maintain my membership. The future business plan needs to incorporate discounts for seniors. I do without some of my retirement needs to continue with the membership. In addition, I always have had excellent service from hair stylist and the other employees. The company needs to maintain a positive working environment including improved benefits. The company's gross and net profit margins tell me the numbers are easily there to improve adequate retirement benefits, insurance and ,of course, comparable industry salaries.

Good day

Good day! My name is Thomas Bernard and I have been a 41 year client of Hair Club. I began when I was 23 yrs old back in 1983 and over the many years I had a ton of excuses given to me why something was not correct (ie. Density too thick, hair not ordered, appointments canceled and impossible to reschedule, etc.). I remained as a client spending approximately $400,000 over my “career” with HC. The only thing Hair Club was consistent in doing properly was to take my money for the monthly service on the day due. Even when I called corporate for help beyond frustration I would never hear back. Unfortunately, a few times a female DOP had an operator from Elmwood Pk, NJ relay a message. lol. Too afraid to contact me directly. I finally left Elmwood Pk which was consistently mismanaged after many years of “sucking it up”. I instead elected to drive a hour more to Rye, NY which was a true breath of fresh air. Doreen, Liz and my amazing technician Mercedes always went above and before to ensure I was happy and that the systems were correct. As a client for 41 years you would think you would get a call from someone thanking you for the continued service but that is NOT in Hair Clubs ways of doing business. At 62 and having difficulty with driving a car I have finally ended my time with HC and try a local competitor. If you are thinking of being a client of Hair Club, I advise you to understand that some offices are top notch (Rye NY, Delray Beach Fl, East Brunswick NJ and Tysons Corner Va). Those are offices I went to over my years that were excellent in all areas. It’s surly a hit or miss. Good luck to all!!!

I used Hairclub services between…

I used Hairclub services between October 2022 and April 2024. My hair line was slightly thinning and wanted to prevent more hair loss. I was told I was the perfect candidate for great results. Not only there was no improvement at all, my hair got substantially worse to the point I now shave my head. The staff then said it that I came in too late for treatment or gaslit me by saying that there were improvements by manipulating their charts when visibly things were getting worse. Avoid Hairclub like the plague.

I was told the records did not show…

I was told the records did not show that the hair I sent out for repair in March of 2023 had never returned. One year later !!!! Although my stylist continually checked to see if it had been returned and it was in the system they will not honor my request. Not even offering any type of partial reimbursement !!!! I have been a loyal customer for 8 years here in Fl and previous to that in Ct. I stayed with the company throughout the covid shut down and would think that HC international would have some understanding for its customers. I am highly disappointed that the corporate office is not able to accommodate my request for reimbursement of a $370.00 hair piece that I bought and paid for but never had the opportunity to use ... This is not fair to treat a loyal customer, I'm moving out of state and there are no HC in the area I'm moving to otherwise I would have stayed with the company.... Now I'm not sure if I would with the way this has been dealt with...

Could not be happier with the solution for my hair loss. Thank you HC of Annapolis MD

I have been a hair club member since 2005 (19 years). . I started out at the Fresno CA salon. Had great service. If I had stayed in CA I would prob still be going there. I moved to MD and was so worried about finding another HC or salon who did hair replacement. First ppl with hair loss is traumatic and embarrassing especially for women and the option of a wig is not a real solution. I wanted to feel confident that no one could tell it was not my hair. OK it’s my hair and I pay for it. Hair Club changed ppl lives. I know the ppl who work for HC realize this. Can you imagine having hair that stays on, you can wash your hair and style it. You can go swimming without worry or having a need to adjust it like a wig. I can’t even feel it on my head. So once a month In go in (I never miss an appointment it’s that important to me) it is taken off cleaned colored and put back on and leave feeling beautiful. I was so happy a salon was close enough or even one in my area. In Fresno and Annapolis the drive is doable. My only suggestion is there is a need for more salons in the country. Also HC needs to advertise more. I have told other ppl I feel HC could help and the reaction is they were unaware a place like this existed. The staff at the Annapolis location are wonderful. From Doris who handles booking and more to Elizabeth the manager and my stylist Betty. The salon provides privacy from the outside of the building to the salon inside. This is important to women and I suppose men during the time it takes to prepare your hair and put it back on. Now a wonderful thing HC treats children for free. How great a child going through chemo or something else can feel good about themselves. You know other kids can be cruel with their comments to someone who looks different. Anyway this is a big plus for me. If you’re hesitant go in and talk to them. They are understanding and realize this isn’t something easy to talk about. This isn’t a luxury for me it’s a necessity. Frustrating Experience with Hair Club: Lack of Communication and Unresolved Issues

I used to be a loyal customer of Hair Club, but the location I went to closed down. I've been trying to contact them for four weeks now, calling and sending emails, but they haven't responded. I'm not happy because I'm paying for services I didn't receive, and they're not addressing my concerns. I can't recommend Hair Club to anyone because they seem dishonest and don't have integrity.

Was a client of Hair club for 20 years. Left after the pandemic. Tried to purchase a new matrix with no prevail. Wanted to charge me 1,600.00 for a matrix. You would think a senior woman that has paid into a company for that long would get a better price. Nope that was the price and they said it would not change. I have lost ALLRESPECT!For hairclub. I thought they were better than this. I guess as long as you are paying a high monthly fee every month they are happy with you. If u just want to purchase hair they don't care! This company is garbage. I bought an expensive laser hat a little over a year ago. I emailed them to ask what to do - it took 3 weeks to get back to me and they said, sorry - nothing we can do, your hat is out of warranty. Not, here’s what to check, send it in and we will look at it. This company will be out of business in a year. Don’t buy from them.

The hair club on Monument Rd

The hair club on Monument Rd. in Philadelphia does not care about people all they care about is your money. The female manager smiles in your face while lying, messing up your order and is not truthful. Also, if you complain to corporate it take days weeks for them to return your call and when they do their not for the customer and they up the price and offer you more hair when you explained to them your not being treated as a valued customers. The receptionist lied several times the quality of the service for African Americans is poor. I was faithful and remain kind to be treated poorly. I suggest you don't use this services especially if you're African American. Also, the receptionist is rude and disrespectful and Marianne the manger does not do anything about it. The review should be zero rating 0.0 PLEASE DON"T USE HAIRCLUB.

Worst Experience

I do not usually write a bad review but the experience I had with Hairclub was one of the worst in my life. It started as a free consultation and it ended with me completely distressed. I was already anxious due to losing my hair, and I feel they used this to their advantage to make me sign an agreement on something I never experienced. On the 1st visit, I was completely in shock as to what I was receiving for an extremely high price (close to $7000 after completion). I was promised that I would receive a 1 1/2 hr "Treatment" once a month. To my shock, it was basically a terrible shampoo and blowdry. I was in the salon industry for over 20 years. I know the difference. The products irritated my scalp and I did not like the aroma either. I am sensitive to synthetic aroma. I was told the products were natural, but that was not the case. They offered me products I could get OTC. I received NO Special "Treatment" or Product as Promised. They continued to tell e that I was told, but I was NOT or I would have made a different decision. The Monoxidil they gave me is OTC and I told her I had already used it. And did not cost nearly this price. I did receive a cap that I said I would pay for.. and the 1st visit (even though I was dissatisfied), but they did not feel that was fair. I felt it was completely fair. During the consult, I asked about the specifics of this treatment but I was told I would receive more info at the first appointment, which took a month! They say they care about customer needs, but in this instance, I felt completely unheard. After the 1st visit, I complained and they refused to correct the situation. They wanted me to go to a different stylist, which was not the issue!! My next step is to contact the Attorney General. Beware!!! The salesperson is good at selling a product, but not understanding when it comes to customer needs. Please do not sign anything!!

Disappointing Experience with Hairclub in Wichita, Kansas I regret to share my Mom's disappointing experience with Hairclub in Wichita, Kansas. I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the manner in which they handled the closure of their business and the subsequent refusal to provide a refund for services that she can no longer access. She spent thousands of dollars to pre-pay for 12 months of services and products. She only got 3 months of them. Firstly, the abrupt permanent closure of the business without any prior notice or communication was extremely disconcerting. It left her, along with many other clients, in a state of confusion and uncertainty regarding the status of our ongoing treatments and commitments. The lack of transparency and consideration for their loyal clientele was disappointing, to say the least. Furthermore, despite the closure of the business rendering their services inaccessible, Hairclub has adamantly refused to provide any form of reimbursement or compensation. This disregard for the financial investments made by their clients is both unprofessional and unethical. It demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Attempts to communicate with Hairclub regarding this matter have been met with dismissive responses and a lack of accountability. The refusal to acknowledge their responsibility in providing refunds for services that can no longer be rendered reflects poorly on their integrity as a business. In conclusion, her experience with Hairclub in Wichita, Kansas, has been nothing short of unsatisfactory. The abrupt closure of the business coupled with their refusal to provide refunds for services I can no longer access highlights significant shortcomings in their customer service and ethical standards. I would caution potential clients to thoroughly consider their options before engaging with this establishment.

One who can verify many of the same complaints others have stated and possesses the experience and knowledge to honestly offer prospective clients insight into why you should choose another reputable hair restoration/replacement specialist. I have dealt with hundreds of businesses and companies. Some were bad, but none, I repeat NONE, were as despicable as Hair Club for Men. It is a low-down, dirty shame that I continued my faith in Hair Club - this well-known company in the field of hair restoration and replacement - only to be eliminated like this. I have been an impeccable client, never missed or was late for a payment, missed only one appointment due to a snow storm and was late for appointments two times. Much of the thousands of dollars I spent and many hours of time spent for travel and appointments were satisfactory or I would not have been a client for this length of time. There were occasions of unsatisfactory events one overlooks for the continued membership with Hair Club. It has culminated into being subjected to more occasions of incompetence, inferior products, neglect, lies and all-around unfair treatment to this end. Now an extreme lack of professionalism resulting in Hair Club breach for non-performance ultimately defined as a Breach of Contract which was entered into by both parties. For those contemplating the services of Hair Club for Men, you will be impressed and extremely grateful for what Hair Club has done to enhance your appearance to the level for which you feel comfortable socially. The paradox is explained using a simile of addiction to drugs. Once your mind begins with effects of the drugs, you are hooked. Once you have established your appearance socially and with family and friends you are locked in to maintain your appearance. This is when Hair Club has you hooked. You will begin to be subjected to negligent treatment. Once you have established your appearance you must continue to maintain that appearance. This is Hair Club agenda. For my last six years the errors became obviously visible, unacceptable and continuous. There was a failure to correct the reoccurring dilemmas. Each year the replacement hair systems and service deteriorated while the cost continued to increase. The ever-changing succession of managers at my Hair Club center now located in Independence, Ohio won't help you. The present manager hung up on me two times when I phoned to ask to speak with my stylist about a problem. I attempted to seek intervention with district managers and those at corporate level. During the last six years I have contacted and exchanged emails with many of those who represent the various job descriptions in the district and within the Hair Club headquarters in Florida. In the beginning, I would get involvement to help correct the problem. Always with a "I am implementing procedures to take care of the problem." It was a lie - they never did. It is a contemptible company that will lie to a 23 year upstanding client to merely postpone an occurrence for the same problem rather than make any effort to solve it. The problems continued and corrective measures ignored. Now my pleadings for help with those at the corporate level ceased. First came "someone will return your call" and "I will return your call." More lies. They would not respond to my telephone calls or email pleadings. These were not petty problems, rather I have endured snide comments, embarrassment and have been unable to attend functions due to incorrect procedures. Their only corrective measures, I must drive 140 miles round trip for a temporary fix. Hair Club's refusals to return my telephone calls or reply to my emails as well as to telephone to confirm my next appointment, as was their procedure, constitutes a willful termination, a Breach of Contract that was in effect until January 2024. I have been dismissed, removed, kicked-out. Because I dared to ask that the errors be corrected! At the time of my joining Hair Club 23 years ago, it was just that, as in their name - a club. When I became a member, I paid a membership fee up-front of $1200. I am entitled to this amount to be refunded for failure to perform and unlawful termination. I have not been refunded, so I make it my obligation to inform others of what may happen to you if you choose Hair Club. In addition, I wish to inform those contemplating Hair Club for Men over others in the same profession. Hair Club for Men and affiliate, Bosley, are now owned by Aderans Corporation of Japan. Ask yourself. Do you really want to contract for expensive hair replacement with a Japanese Company 6,500 miles away from Cleveland? Hair Club is not your best choice - go elsewhere, as I have.

Pigmentation restorink

I did a procedure at hair club called pigmentation on August 22nd, 2022. I did three pigmentation restorink the price of $1000 plus tax. Basically I had a hair transplant surgery back in the summer of 2008 and this surgery which was to no avail for me left a bad scar at the back of my head. Thanks to the pigmentation process that was performed by Aisha at the Hair Club. She did it three times on three separate visits and I can honestly say that my scar is almost gone when I cut my hair short at number 1. Of course you have to follow the pre procedure and post procedure instructions that they give you for it to work and I followed those instructions to the teeth. The instructions are written for you in a folder and given to you by your counsellor on the day the package is sold to you. So I wanted to sincerely thank Aisha from the bottom of my heart for an outstanding pigmentation job on my hair transplant scar. I find Aisha very professional very knowledgable and very courteous. I was very nervous on the days of the procedure but thanks to her professionalism I went through the procedure and post procedure days without any problems. Also I wanted to thank Aly for her outstanding sales job. I find Aly to be knowledgable about the different procedures offered by hair club and she found me a good matching procedure (pigmentation restorink) at the right decent price and matched me with an excellent practitioner Aisha. I am very satisfied with my choice and the service I got.

SCAMMER ALERT!!! BE VERY CARY!

SCAMMER ALERT! I’m warning everyone to not go to this place. Believe me. I never post about any business because I have 5 businesses myself. But I was done in by this company. They messed my credit up so bad I’m still in tears and it’s been 3 weeks. I went in for a free consultation and was seen virtually by this doctor name Vanessa/Virginia one of the names. She ran my credit without my knowledge. I told this doctor that I wasn’t ready and I had no money. She took it upon herself because she knew my situation, and took ADVANTAGE! Im thinking the clinic is giving me some type of help with a program they offer but come to find out it was a credit application through a lender. I didn’t realize until I got home and received a call from Experian. I emailed Hair Club to cancel everything. Two days later I received a response saying I needed to go through a second process to approve the cancellation. I was sent the cancellation paperwork for reimbursement to lenders but was told they couldn’t give a 100.% reimbursement because of a machine that is not refundable, which I never received and I don’t know what machine they referring to. I still haven’t received this machine although I don’t want it!!! Fast forward…. I now have a balance owed because they didn’t refund the entire amount. My credit is about to be messed up because I’m not paying the balance owed. Especially, if I didn’t approve my credit to be looked at. This company found a way to get money from a FREE consultation. This is unethical and they should be embarrassed. I’ve never witnessed a company so money hungry. HAIR CLUB YOU NEED TO PAY THE LENDET THE ENTIRE BALANCE. YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME OR MY SITUATION!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be going to small claims on this situation.

If i can give -1 negative review for this Hairclub, i would do so. My regret is that i did not believe the reviews that i read here until i experience it myself. Although i must say that the front desk personnel( which i forgot the name) is very helpful with my complains, everything else the stylist and even the manager sucks. They were very nice on my consultation and i mention all my concern with my hair. And they promise that i will absolutely love the treatment. On the day of my 1st treatment, after that stylist ( her name is Kim) did my hair, i mention if she could add more strands coz i cannot see the volume that i really want for my hair, not to mention that it didn’t even cover the small patch that i have on top. She said that she could not add more and i ask why and she could not even explain to me. So i went to the front desk for and explain my concern . she talks to her manager and they said that i have to come back because they were almost closing. I could not explain the disappointment that i got with this place. Too bad i cannot refund my money. Next time don’t even bind with a contract and research more and compare before committing.😩😩😩😩😩😩

My stylist

My stylist, Holly, is always good, knowledgeable and helpful. The administration staff not so much. My last visit the receptionist left me sitting in the waiting room, didn't tell my stylist I was there. My appointment was interrupted by two different people pulling Holly out of the room in the middle of my treatment, one being the manager, who should know better, and the second because it's her job to measure new clients. Surely this new client could have waited the five minutes I waited with my head getting cold.

Had a horrid consultation this past weekend, can’t imagine why anyone would feel comfortable using their services! Poorly trained misinformed and lacked answers to straight forward questions that I had. I had to get a call 24 hours later to answer my questions! Then xstrands they want $4k upfront for 6 months service! What if the system doesn’t work or perform poorly like pulling out my hair? Why can’t I pay month to month to ensure it works for me ? Commenting on HairClubs RestorInk and a comment made by an October 2023 review who stated they received RestorInk for $1,000 (plus tax). The review did not state the size of the treatment area. I had this procedure at HairClub and they charged me over $8,000 (plus tax) for a small area (two sessions). Expensive and now faded after a few months to the point a HC stylist (who didn't know I had RestorInk done) recommended that I do RestorInk. Imagine the stylist's expression when I simply said, "I did." Don't waste your time and money on RestorInk at HairClub. Go to a reputable cosmetic surgeon who use actual experienced technicians for scalp micropigmentation (SMP) -- which HC calls RestorInk.

The reason why I chose Hair Club as I plan on traveling and found that they have centers all over the country. In the two years I have been with them the actual stylist are wonderful, but the company is terrible. I have been wearing other client's hair now most of the time and it never really satisfies me, and it is very depressing, and never fits correct. Pesíma, horrorosa experiencia, son unos estafadores sin escrupulos acabamos de regresar de lasmoficinas de hair club aqui en farmigton en Ct pague mas de $2000 un regalo de cumpleaños param i esposo ya que esta quedandose calvo por tratamiento de champus, pastillas y lociones de cabellos que nos aseguraban mantener y retener la caida de cabello y aumentar la cantidad de cabello, acabo el año que pagamos de tratamiento y por lo contrario esta mas calvo y hoy no nos dieron solución, la manager queria colocar un peluquin o unas extensiones de cabello que no duran ni una semana, yo no pague para eso si hubiera querido un peluquin lo mamdaba hacer de cabello natural!! yo paque para que su cabello crezca naturalmente, le pedi 6 meses de tratamiento mas o que me devuelvan mi dinero pero se negaron hacerlo, ahora colocare una denuncia contra ellos y una demanda, veo que hay muchas personas afectadas por las estafas que nos hacen a nosotros los consumidores, ademas a ello tienen una publicodad engañosa si no les resulta el tratamiento devolvemos el dinero y es mentira, tengo tanta pena y angustia por mi esposo que es joven aún y no pudo recuperar su cabello por estos estafadores, esta con los animos abajo, triste y ademas a ello le dejaron el cuero cabelludo reseco y con bolas de grasa que antes el no los tenia esto sucedio al comenzar el tratamiento con estos estafadores, que no se quieren hacer cargo de nada EXijo mi dinero de vuelta!!com esa cantidad de dinero hubiera pagado un implante de cabello en otro pais increiblemnte aun existe malas compañias aprovechandose de las emociones y confianzas de los clientes. por último la manager nos dice le podemos poner 500(el gruesor es un deso por decirlo asi) a mi me lo pusieron hace 4 años atras ellos mismos y se me calleron en la primera semanaa no dura y es gratis soj pruebas que loos dan de free, segun ellos esa era su garantia para nuestro caso, que pasa señores de hair club ? uds estan burlandose de josotros ? cabellitos que es una cantidad muy minima que no dura ni una semana se cae !!! devuelvan mi dinero !

Desilusion con Hair Club, me han robado y engañado

Compre una peluca en noviembre 2022 y desde ese entonces me la han cambiado tres veces. Pues la misma ha salido defectuosa. Se me cae el pelo de la peluca y me ha dejado calva la peluca. Ahora lo ultimo es que yo compre otra peluca pues se acabo la garantia. Pero si ninguna han sido buenas ¿como voy a comprar otra? El problema es el producto. Ademas el personal no ha sido muy amable conmigo se molestan cada vez que voy con problemas con la peluca. Quedaron en llamarme para darme una solucion y llevo un mes esperando. Yo me meti a HC con mis ahorros. Buscando una solucion pero fue lo peor que he hecho. Me gustaria que alguien me escuchara y me ayudara. Yo quiero que me den otra peluca sin tener que pagarla de lo contrario que me devuelvan mi dinero y todas las propinas que he dado.

Convenient Location

Love the location, not really friendly some staff and management very defensive with excuses why they cannot or will not help in case of emergency repairs, and don't return calls. Staff turnover, lack of staff, service, have been great issue since 'Covid' excuse for everything, even sending out with wet poorly cut hair that lifts in the first week. Used to be a great office when it opened- Staff was attentive, professional, friendly- made me feel important as a client-today not so much. Hope things change here for the better soon.

I have been a HC client for over 30…

I have been a HC client for over 30 years and for the most part have been satisfied. The turnover of stylists seems to be excessive and not sure why that is an issue. That being said, I now have a stylist who I am very satisfied with, and she has a long experience with HC so I am hopeful she will continue. The problem is the COVID excuse for everything.....I can accept some issues, but I feel at the corporate level or senior management they have really dropped the ball. My current plan is for 5 systems per year at a very expensive $398 per month.....three price increases in the last 4 years. The problem now is that HC cannot fulfill its contractual obligations. I have had new hair on order since March and have had the local management try to substitute another system to fulfill my required orders. I drive 2 hours to my salon and the manager failed to tell me my hair was on back order due to "COVID"......after a lengthy discussion I explained that a substitute system was not acceptable. This was in Oct and was told that my hair should be in by Nov. My scheduled appointment was 18 Nov and I called just to make sure my hair was there, and you guessed it they were once again trying to provide me with a substitute system and once again no advanced notification. I explained that this was totally unsatisfactory, and that HC needed to stop the auto withdrawls each month until they can meet their obligations. I was told it may be several months before my hair actually arrives but that was only a guess as they had no visibility of the order status.....REALLY.....what kind of business are you running and if you are still having COVID issues to this level then be honest with your clients and quit trying to placate us with half measures.

Never again

Never thought I would get the nerve to actually quit the club after 12 years of being a client, but I did. 12 years of paying a car payment every month, 12 years of driving five hours one way every month, this adds up over time. For the last 2 years I have dealt with not having the same stylus more than once, other than the traveling stylus. 2 years of not having my system ready for me for the appointed replacement, 2 years of canceled or rescheduled appointments cause of no stylus. I can’t take off work for two days on a whim cause they need to reschedule. Every reschedule takes two days off of my vacation days since I work nights. I’ve wasted enough money with this company that can’t seem to get their crap together. 12 years at 500 a month comes to 72,000, that’s 72,000 I could have put towards the house! I never would have started with this company if the manager would have been honest on how the program works. Best of luck HC

I worked for hair club one year….one…

I worked for hair club one year….one word to describe m experience and it was TOXIC! First of all it’s very toxic places to work starting from the manger, most not all employees and HR. I reached out to HR but they did nothing. Some employees have been there for 15 to 22 years, they are cut throat, will do anything to keep their high tipping members, very greedy and mean. They talk very badly about the members. For example, how some of the members don’t tip well. They would push around the non tipping members to each other or me, which was fine with me, because I truly cared about my clients. The Manager was a bully, very condescending and disrespectful, not a team builder at all. I was very unhappy to workin in a toxic environment. The Manager stole my Commission and tried to blame it on other people. I was selling products but she was putting them under her fiancé‘s name. Then one day before she fired me, she told me I was the reason that her fiancé was no longer working at that location. So she decided to come after me and got me fired under false pretenses. The manager has no morals or ethics. She’s not a person with good character or attitude. Mind you this poor excuse of a manager was only there for three months and she turned this place into a toxic work place. I would not recommend anyone to work at this location.

Canceled order then refused to give refund or reorder

I ordered a wig 2 years ago, received something that met none of my color specifications and was FAR too small for my head, and requested a replacement after trying to wear it for only 2 days. They understood my complaints and ordered it. Then covid hit, factories closed, and I waited over 9 months. I was given a complimentary $200 piece from online "while I waited for my order to be moved to a different, open manufacturer and made and shipped". I waited another 9 months, then was informed that after getting the complimentary piece my order had been canceled because I had already "gotten two wigs for the price of one". No one ever told me my order would be canceled--in fact, they specifically said it was being updated and FIXED so I could actually get it--and now they're holding a complimentary apology gift against me. Apparently at HairClub, "We're sorry, we're trying to make this right" gifts are actually just ways to screw people over.

Absolutely ridiculous!!

Absolutely ridiculous!!! I have been waiting a year for the right fit of my system to come in! The manager of the Warwick RI store keeps telling me it’s due to Covid and they can not get the hair in. It’s on order and they can not give me a specific date so she has been getting the hair from different Hair Clubs that 1-is totally not the correct color and 2- does not fit my head at ALL. This has been an ongoing issue since last OCTOBER! They are very nice and trying to accommodate me but I am sick and tired of paying thousands of dollars for the incorrect color and fit. why would anybody pay their insane prices when you can buy a great lace system online that lasts for several months simply by taking care of it..anybody paying these people must have time and money to waste..I was a member in Winnipeg , actually their first or 2nd customer ever and aside from the people being ok, the price was insane at 5-600 a month..I now buy online for 3-400 including perming and the exact colour I need and have a guy cut it in for me..1 hour every 3-4 weeks, and in between I wash and condition it and put it back on easily..it is not brain surgery..it is simple...

My Experience

My Experience 06/03/2021: I am a 40-year-old male, an ARMY Combat Veteran, and currently work with Fire Departments, ensuring their safety. I signed up at Hair Club (Dallas, TX Branch) in Jan. of 2020. Since this time, I have spent over $4000.00 and have not received one day of hair that I ordered. My Story: The first hair piece was ordered in Jan. 2020. It arrived at the end of March. They measured my personal hair and told me I was ready to apply the hair piece. They put it on me, then completely chopped it off. When I asked why, they told me I wasn’t ready for the hair style I was going for (OK, then why did they tell me I was ready??). This hair piece went completely bald, in the front, within 3 days. However, covid hit and I was stuck wearing it for a little over a month. At this point I was completely embarrassed professionally. In June they called and told me my second hair piece was available. I went to put it on and noticed that it was not even close to the same as the first one. Color, thickness, fit were all completely different. I asked the manager what happened; he told me that the stylists will go in and make changes (lie). I was still new to this, so I went along with it not knowing any better, but thought it was strange that they would change everything without asking. They dyed it and sent me on my way. Of course, the dye only lasted a couple of days, so I was quickly back to looking crazy. This went on with two or three more hair pieces. Each one came with a different lie about why it wasn’t the right color, fit, etc. He would tell me that “they have to personally dye each hair piece that came in. They usually have months to do this, but since mine just got there; they didn’t have time.” I said “so people can’t order a specific color, you have to dye everything?” “O-no, you can order colors, it's just covid.” (Every time I caught him in a lie, he said covid). Finally in October, I realized that they had never ordered my hair. They were going into their back room, grabbing other people’s trash hair (I’m guessing that they tried it on but didn’t like it), then telling me it was my hair and of course charging me for it. At my next visit, I sat down with the manager, called them out on this, and asked them to stop. We then went through the whole order process line by line, so that we would all be on the same page. The next hair piece that I came in for, would be mine. We were all in agreement. I left this visit bald, convinced that we got it right, and ready to receive my hair in Jan. They call me in Jan. 2021 and tell me it's ready, I show up and see that it’s not even close to the right color. I’m blond, this thing was dark brown. He told me a few more lies about hair dye (trying to get me to put it on), and that was it. I have not heard from anyone since. I’ve called, they keep taking a message and telling me he will call back (he never does). I’ve called the corporate office, they said all they can do is tell the Dallas office to call me (they didn’t). I was completely nice and understanding with this company and they took advantage of me. I would not recommend Hair Club. Read all of the reviews and take the negative ones to heart. Save your thousands of dollars and buy a nice hat.

Do not go for the RestoreInk procedure

Do not go for the RestoreInk procedure. Cost 3.2k with no results and even worst off than I was before going there. It looks like I have a bunch of moles at the back of my head. Asked for refund and they’re becoming arrogant and refused to reimburse the cost or partial cost. Worst experience Ive had in a long time. Waste of time and money. Looks like all these 5 stars review are mostly fake…read the 1-3 stars if you want a true opinion on product and services there. Its a scam.

I know about this

I have been wearing hair systems since 1987. I know WAY more about this business than anyone I have ever chatted with a HCM. I have seen the reviews here. I understand. They only use NATURAL hair. It ALWAYS fades and FALLS out over time. If they would just give a person a choice and offer synthetic systems many of these complaints could be taken care of. I dont need to see some HOT lady & have her tell me about my hair loss problems. I need to speak with someone who knows MORE about hair systems than I do. EVERY time I have went in for a consult these women have followed they same script. Skirt and blouse at least 2 sizes to small. Breast carefully positioned. WE DONT OR NEED THIS!!! Why not hire ME to run an office?

I have been with HCA for 10 years and sadly the quality has just gone all the way down to junk status. I have an issue with the hair being so thin to begin with and then falling out in chunks thereafter leaving you feeling vulnerable and unhappy - I don’t feel I am being looked after and to add insult to injury my cost increased by at least 30 % without notice or discussion and they debuted this money with no issue and no permission and have left me stranded with hair issues and no concern ! I would have thought that after 10 years I’d be treated with more respect ! How can you demand more payment for the worse quality is beyond me. I told them the hairline is out in clumps and even sent pictures and received no call back to remedy and then insured this morning seeing the extra money removed from my account with no permission to do so Shameful

This review is for xtrends ,( appointment issues ) since i have got their services for the first time in dev 2021 , i have always been struggling with appointments. its been over a month since i went there last time and finally i had to remove hair extension and put my cap on , because it started coming off and smelling bad because of polymer i believe . since the first impression went horrible , now i am thinking about let go thousands of dollars i paid after 6 initial months that is included in the price i paid . what was very disappointing was , a lady called to confirm an appointment and i told her i'll have to cancel it since i'll ba working an extra hours . i told her this appointment situation is not working for me and i had to remove the extrand and wear cap for now , now here is her answer " at this point we can not do any refund to you and it's completely up to you if you don't wanna wear xtension " so, instead of suggesting me the solution , she decided to be judgementle and assumed that i was asking about refund " the stylist over there are nice, when you are there they treat you nicely and their product is nice as well ( no complaints about those ) . me letting go thousands of dollars i paid is the least i worry about , now lets see how worried hairclub is about loosing potential long time customer . i still have included services till june 2022 , and i hope after this review they try to restore my faith in them .

I’ve been a member of hair club…

I’ve been a member of hair club Mississauga Canada for almost 8 years . Since the pandemic the quality has markedly decreased . I pay 789 dollars a month and despite complaining I’m not being given the systems I have requested for . They vary in densities and the front laces are very prominent . I have been told that due to the pandemic theres a year back log , therefore they are trying systems from other factories which is certainly not what I pay for . I have been able to get one system from another vendor which is way better then hair club hair system and cheaper too . I despite paying 789 dollars a month still have not been getting the hair systems I have signed up for . The Regional manager has been very supportive but I guess the staff is not able to address my needs as they are getting the money on a monthly basis . Spoke with the regional manager Candace and assured she would look into my complaint and will follow up with me. I felt pretty confident she will look into this and results will be positive. I have been a Hair Club client since 2005. I’d like to start out with the positives Hair Club changes lives! For women like me who have severe hair loss I would give up eating to pay for membership it’s that important to me. I am amazed at the number of women I do share my experience are unaware there is this option besides wigs. Personally I could not handle wigs. Having hair first and foremost that no one can tell is not mine (well it is actually mine I pay for it 😂). I love that I never have to worry in whatever activity I do that someone could tell. I can feel completely comfortable and confident whether at the beach, pool, gym or a windy day. One thing I have found the difference from your own natural hair and this option is natural hair gets oily from your scalp and needs to be washed more often than my HC hair and can be styled easily everyday. This is one appointment I never miss and always look forward to even though my drive there can be up 2 hours sometimes. No one knows this is not your natural hair unless you share that fact with someone. In fact if I happen to be somewhere say the nail salon and I see a woman who may want to change her life I will tactfully tell her of my experiences and how HC changed my life. My first experience was in Fresno CA for 11 years. I moved to Maryland and was please all my information was still in Hair Club system so transferring to the Annapolis was easy. Stacy who handles membership was so nice and helpful. I haven’t seen her in awhile and mot sure if she is another one who left this salon, The first woman who handled the desk and appoints Heather was a joy and always cheerful, professional and made appointments so easy to schedule. She is no longer there but at a different salon. I really miss her. My stylist Yuri Kim is wonderful. I have never left not feeling beautiful and happy with my hair. After so many years having her do my hair I feel she is a friend as well as the best stylist there. At the moment she is about the only stylist who has remained since I started my membership at this salon. I love her and if she left there I would follow her to whatever salon she transferred to. She is a PRO Even during Covid when the salon could not remain open there were ways to communicate and get help with keeping my hair attached through zoom. It was a difficult period and I am glad that that is over. But other changes occurred when the salon could take clients again. I feel the changes were due to the woman who took over the management position. I sincerely hope me airing this does not effect how I am treated in the future at the salon. Every stylist but mine has transferred to other HC salons in MD. You would think the regional manager would question this or wonder why. I personally have had issues and seen her trying to correct my stylist in a loud and not so nice way in front of me. I have been in a leadership positions and you never correct or discipline someone in front of others and always in private. If I saw this I am sure this was not a one time instance and I feel for the stylists. It is my opinion only, but I have a feeling the loss of the other stylists all occurring since she took the position was not a coincidence. Someone who is above her in the company might benefit from talking to these stylists. Loosing your stylist who you trust and always meets your satisfaction when you leave from your appointment is very important to clients and a priority if they will continue to be a client. I am holding my breath my stylist remains. In my opinion the company couldn’t afford loosing her. This salon was down to just her and I know she worked very hard to keep things going there. She is loyal to her clients and probably one of the reasons she has remained. Yuri hasn’t confided in me the problems at the salon. I have observed many things. Like I stated earlier I am a long time client and I can realize a good situation from a bad one. I did contact the regional manger once (Todd he is no longer working in that position) about what I observed but I don’t think anything was done. I just renewed my membership even with the large increase in the amount each month. I do hope the company takes in to consideration problems clients have or see and try to take corrective action. I have never been one to stay quite and not voicing my opinion when I see problems or if I really endorse something. But after reading so many negative comments from other clients it makes me wonder if I am wasting my time with this post. Thankfully my experiences are not as bad as some I read. One thing I learned in my 20 years in the Navy is if you take care of your ppl they will take care of you. If you set the the example others will take your lead.

COVID related hair loss

After recovering from Covid in early October, I noticed my hair was falling out. It was falling out in handfuls. This was very distressing and disturbing. I researched and found that this is a side effect for some people who recover from Covid.Telogen effluvium is what it is called. I worked with a physicians assistant and when we came to Savannah, I found the Hair Club group. Tari and Robin were wonderful. I had used headbands, scarves, and caps. I was reluctant to wash my hair as that caused even more hair to fall out. They met with me and we discussed options and solutions. Robin made an appointment to work with me, washed my hair and fixed it to hide the hair loss very well. They were both extremely kind and supportive. It is now 5+ months later and my hair is starting to come back. This is typical in cases with many cases of telogen effluvium. I am very grateful for the help that Tari and Robin gave me. I highly recommend this group!

Hair Club Bedford Canada

Its been a year + of hell. I have not received a paid hair system in a year. They did provide me with alternative hair that led me to have to cut my hair to even be able to get a system. It was also a different color. Your hair is shaved to install the hair so it leaves little options. My issue was not even with the supply part I realize Covid makes it tough. My Issue is I was bullied into signing another contract instead of being allowed to wait on my other two systems being provided before I had to pay. Now I have been paying for 5 months and still have not even received my 2020 hair. This has forced me to buy from another company to not go into work bald. I'm a redhead so this is not that easy to do. This has been upsetting to say the least. So, if I were to do it again I would go to Hidden Crown get a hair topper and get a hair stylist to cut it. Its less expensive and a lot more convenient without the stress, no additional travel and no contract. Save yourself the heart ache and do not go to the Hair Club.

I had the worst experience ever

I had the worst experience ever! And I'm still dealing with it! I went in because I have always had fine hair (not balding) just baby fine hair. I thought a hair topper would be great! So, I made an appointment, I showed the stylists a picture of the hair color I wanted for the hair topper. She ordered it. When it arrived I had an appointment to have it placed on. The color was Nothing like the picture I showed the stylist. I was also never told about clips ons.. just the glue on. I was talked into trimming down the top of my hair so the hair topper laid more flat. I wasn't aware that trimming meant shaved! I have never felt uglier. Now I have to wear this topper until my hair grows back. I am not happy at all about it. I even gave them another chance by having the stylists order another hair piece for me four months after the first one and once again that was a mistake. It wasn't the color I wanted. It was the same color as the first one I didn't like. I then decided to cancel my membership and that has been a nightmare! I was told I could easily cancel it over the phone. I tried doing so and was then told I have to cancel my membership through email... that's when I was told I have to send a written notice to cancel my membership. I have tried all three to cancel my membership and It's still not canceled. I have been charged two months after I've tried canceling the membership. Here I am being forced to pay $400/ month for hair and salon visits I'm not longer attending or interested in and I'm also stuck with a bald head and a hair color topper that I never wanted. My confidence I once had before deciding to step into that salon no longer exists.. and probably won't until my hair grows back. 🥺😢😭

Angry and Unhappy!

A few months ago, I decided to renew my membership to HairClub. I originally was a client a few years ago and had to drive to New Orleans for my visits, so I was super excited to hear a HairClub Salon opened in Baton Rouge- I wouldn’t have to travel to the salon in New Orleans. However my main reason is I am in education and since the start of this pandemic my hair thinning has gotten progressively worse. Since joining HairClub a couple of months ago , I was very pleased with my stylist. She was amazing. I walked out the salon feeling awesome. I was getting my money’s worth. Let me tell you, HairClub is NOT cheap. Well, after three months things began going down hill. The salon got a new manager. To my knowledge there were some unresolved issues with the new manager and the stylists. Therefore they quit!! Leaving some very happy clients very concerned and unhappy. Since my stylist left I am left very,very unhappy and have very limited options. Here are a few complaints I have suffered over the past few months. Complaint #1: The BR salon now have traveling hair stylists. These people are flying in from different states to work for a week or two at the BR HairClub. Which means it’s a different stylist for each appointment. (That in it self is difficult for me). Some of these stylists have limited experience. They have no connections to me- my likes and dislikes when it comes to my hair. (Again, HairClub is NOT cheap!! I pay for my stylist to know me.) Each time I went to the salon I had to explained what I want done and share my complaints about what the last stylist did or didn’t do. Complaint #2: I am unable to get appointments when I have issues with my hair. Don’t forget we have traveling stylists. This means, I will have to deal with the issues until my next appointment. Complaint #3: My stress level is still way to high! My last four appointments, I left the salon in tears and angry! My system/matrix is placed wrong on my head. The areas I was trying to cover up was still visible. I pay way to much money to be so unhappy with my hair! Complaint #4: I have called corporate office and the person who is in charge of my region never called me back. Nothing has been done to rectify my issues. HairClub continues to debit my bank account every month. (Again, HairClub is NOT cheap!) I feel like I’m being cheated because I’m NOT getting what I’m paying for. I would love to share some pics as proof of what I’m going through but I can’t on this page. In closing, as a woman our hair is our crown. When it doesn’t look good we don’t FEEL good. I am a client of hair club because I want to feel and look good. HairClub in the past always put the clients concerns first. The purpose of this message is my hopes that someone from HairClub reads it and get to bottom of what’s happening at the Baton Rouge center. It’s my understanding at any place if business, especially a business that prides its self on making people look and feel confident that customer service and satisfaction should always be the first priority especially when it comes at such a great cost. #AngryandStressedOut

There are few organizations that provide a total complement of professional staff members to include functional as well as administrative. Such is the case for the HCM Center in Savannah, GA. I would like to extend a "tip of the hair" to the management and to all of the stylists and technicians that make up the very cordial and efficient staff there. The unique professionalism of Terry, Teresa, Robin, and Daphne is exceptional in every regard. I really can't remember a time or a visit when I wasn't treated as a totally valued client since my first visit there over eight years ago. I'm sorry that I fell for a very convincing sales pitch, All I wanted was longer hair and ended up losing 1 1/2" ban around my head due to their rubber cement they use to glue their India hair to my hair. Following three months of up to twice a week going back with issues and the poor fitting wigs along with quality. Please only if your bald I would never go back especially where they charged me $5,500 for the first year and after three months of putting up with their lies that the real hair I wanted is coming from India and it would take another 3 months. I quit and got back half my money, again I'm so embarrassed of what they did to my head and sorry I fell for the lies. The hair stylist are the only reason why I hung in for three months they were all professional and kind and in the end one came over to me and said she knew I was not a candidate because my hair was fine when I first came in. DO NOT GO IF YOURE LITTERALY NOT BALD THEY HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO OFFER!

The service is excellent. Michael is a master at making my hair look great. Even though the quality of hair being delivered is not what it used to be. And I’ve been a member for 16 years. Also I’ve had to go a couple of months with the same system due to shipping snags and delays. The front desk Liz is a professional who knows how to take care of of the clients. The revolving door of managers all need managerial courses. Plus how about a manager being a man who maybe wears a system and can understand our concerns. These women only know it as a paycheck. declining of customer service

Hair Club- I know we are living in tough times with the breakout of COVID. However, enough is enough. It is obvious upper management cares nothing of their hair stylists and frontline workers. The turnover with the employees is ridiculous. The Austin location has gone though at least 10 employees since the start of the pandemic. I have heard everyone of them complain that MGT has not worked with them at all. Consequently, experienced stylists are gone. Austin currently has 2 hair stylists after 2 more left last week. I am a Diamond member and Hair Club cannot meet their contractual promises. I can't even get an appt. to replace my hair, let alone hairline adjustments. I do those myself now. I try to go in just every 3 weeks so I am not too much of a burden. However, now Hair Club can't even maintain their contractual obligations. I am owed new hair every 6 weeks. I was told it will be at least 7 weeks before my current one can be replaced. Why do I pay 559.00 monthly if you can't keep hair on my head.? It also makes for very uncomfortable appointments when the staff is obviously miserable. The quality of service has been on a constant decline. Now, you are failing your contract. This is obviously a lack of understanding or caring with upper MGT. Shame on you HC. Mark B.

The service and flexibility are the reason I am still a member. My stylist is creative and “the best!” I have been a member since 1988 and thought Nicole, my stylist in California, could not be beat. I was wrong. Katherine “Kat” now is #1!

All the stylists are really professional and always prepared to assist me with my individual needs and style desired. My only concern is the staff turn over. Many stylists I had come to know have apparently left and the current crew is short staffed. I hope that this resolves. I love my hair!

Realmente son unos careros de madre con productos muchos más economicos en otros lugares lo que pasa que te cobran por por ver tu cabeza en su microscopio luego de la primera cita de evaluación "gratis".Yo fui por 6 meses para ofrecerme minoxidil y otros productos y decían que me recortaban y si no digo nada no lo hacen, despues de dos meses llendo a ese lugar. Pague como si me fueran a transplantar cabello en una diminuta área, por que si fuera tranplante no me quiero imaginar el precio.

Let me tell you about my first disappointment, I scheduled for in person consultation, as they give you two options with your consoler. I arrived there on my appointment date to have a Teams call with the counselor??? They could mention when they confirmed my visit that it would be virtual. DONT waist your time to drive there. Second disappointment, those people are not hair expert. THEY ARE SALES for cheap, not worthy products and could harm you more than you think. I don't recommend you go with high hopes to solve your hair issue, cause you will leave upset for wasting your time and emotions.

This hairclub on King st west Toronto

This Hair Club business in Toronto's branch are CLASSLESS & UNPROFESSIONAL regarding their booking system, they treated me like a BEGGAR, I WAS GOING TO PAY!! they don't keep their word. By cancelling me the appointment what I was going to have this coming Thursday October 7th @3pm, are UNACCEPTABLE!!! If their booking system is worst, what about the rest?..IF you are the manager seeing my review,please, don't write back with your "sorry" because it DOESN'T FIX ANYTHING!!! Now is WAY TOO LATE!!.... Updating: OF COURSE YOU GOT MY FILE, you are a LIAR with your replies!!as I was the FIRST TIME CUSTOMER enquiring!! DON'T TRY to COVER UP THE SUN WITH A FINGER!!, you want proofs about your sudden cancellation?? I will show it in THE COURT & I emailed it to you!!. I won't erase this feedback. Edit: I understand Covid is causing issues

Edit as of 9/22: Appreciate the fast response and working on my issue. Thank you for the call Candace. Would like to thank Amber and Holly for being such professionals and working with me over the past week to resolve my issue. Very happy with the service rec'd. Original review: I understand Covid is causing issues. However, I went for my service today and was told my new system wasn't in and that they would need to use my old one again. Not satisfied with this. The system quality over the past year isn't as good as in the past. Way too much hair falling out. I almost have a bald spot in the system and I have to use it another month or more? They couldn't even tell me if I will have the new system next month. I pay WAY too much for this. I have been a client for 30 years. Very disappointed. Maybe a little forethought should have been done to avoid this. No offer of a refund either. If the quality was better, it wouldn't be an issue. Corporate needs to get back to producing a quality product. The local team is great. No issues with them.

After posting my review I received a email from the corporate office at HC and he made me feel like a client that they cared about. A client that had been a customer for over 20 years. He made everything right, and I am happy. Thank you HC for caring. This is the company I remember. Thank you regional manager. You know who you are. Mr. A. I am happy now. To other clients out there. Been a loyal client for 12 YEARS , THEN ALL OF SUDDEN GET TREATED LIKE A PIECE OF CRAP

hello my name is Coby Sparks aka Coeburn Sparks, iv been a loyal client for 12 years at the Lexington Ky center , all of a sudden i was getting treated like a piece of crap ,, especially by the mananger Maddison , i paid my bill every month , i joined hairclub in 2009 , had a rocky start in the beginging , changes in mgmt , stylist ect , my first experience from 2009 heather my stylist could not get my hair done right, at that time the other stylist Brittana was out on medical leave ,, then she came back , first time Brittana did my hair i was so pleased because she did a fantastic job , i wanted her all the time , heather didnt like it because she was my original stylist , but i a customer choose who i want ,, 6 months later Brittana got transfered to the denver colorado center , then heather was only stylist for a while , new manager took over center in early 2011 , her becky , she was the rudist most unplesant person , not only rude to employees , but clients as well , in later months they hire new stylist and i would try them out because i was looking for someone better than heather , beckys rudness kept irretating me , and still could not find any one they hire any better , i was about to leave in 2012 , i held on little longer then in jan 2013 only heather was only stylist , becky attitude and rudness some clients left , i held on , hired 2 new stylist c j and kylie , i tried cj she did not get it right , i wanted to try kylie but i was told she only for x trand clients only as she was not trained for my hair system ,i did not like becky , she rudist mananger , i then in july 2013 was about to throw in the towell and leave hairclub , then things started changing , becky was getting transfered to Louisville ky center and ASHLEY RICH was taking over Lexington Ky center , she turned that center around and cleaned house , she made it so pieasant , she hired a new admin. her name is LAUREN SMITH , both of them cared , between both of them they made clients feel welcomed , ASHLEY then had KYLIE trained to do my type of hair system and good thing because she was better than heather ,, then in mid 2014 KYLIE left and now had heather , then they hired another stylist JULIA , heather left in mid 2014 , so i tried JULIA and i was thrilled because she was good at hair , so ASHLEY and LAUREN made sure i got JULIA , hired anothe stylist Sheila , i always wanted JULIA ,, they hired another stylist few months later Shannon , but i always got Julia , Kylie and JULIA are good but BRITTANA was the best KYLIE and JULIA got close enough to keep me happy but KYLIE left in 2014 so i had JULIA all the time , didnt want Sheila or Shannon , then in August 2015 , Julia left , so it was Sheila or Shannon , but Shannon was out a few weeks because of surgery , so i got Sheila , Sheila tried to get it right but i was not satistfied ,, then Shannon returned so i tried her a few months but turned out Sheila way better than Shannon soi requeated to go back to Sheila , for a while hire another stylist Rebecca she didnt do it right so i stuck with Sheila because she better than Shannon and Rebecca , then in Sept 2017 Ashley got transfered to Cincinnati Ohio center ,then Lauren took over the center , i really liked Lauren she so pleasant to be around , then she leaves in April 2018 , had louisvlle center mananger Kristen manange for a while , then had Tarren from w,va. manange for awhile , they hired a new Stylist in july 2018 , her name is MORIAH , so i got her to do my hair one time and i was shocked as she did a tremendous job , i could not believe my eyes , best stylist i have ever had do my hair so i always got her all the time because that is who i wanted , Moriah is the only one to outdo Brittana ,, i was shocked , MORIAH can style ,cut hair so good and i was always 150 percent satified , then in april 2019 Maddison was trained for menangment to run lexington ky center everthing was fine , MORIAH doing my hair and getting right on the money , then in march 2020 covid hit shut everything down , but center shut down for 3 months i still paid my bill in good faith and not getting any service it did not bother me , until Aug 2020 , when gov. ok to reopen may 2020 everthing was fine i still had my hairdresser MORIAH , then in aug 2020 Maddison said i could not have MORIAH anymore , i told Maddison i only wanted MORIAH , so on so on ,things were getting bad , Maddison said i have to take who she gives me or i dont get my hair done then i started getting treated like a piece of crap ,, aug, sept , oct , nov 2020 got so bad and because the way they was treating me i was forced to go to a competitor in dec 2020 i was so emotionally hurt over this ,, i was owed some hair BUT Madisson was holding my hair hostage unless i paid her ,i told i havnt been there for 2 months , just to make this short the regional mgr lied to me ,about getting me exact duplicate of my hair i received in dec 2020 , last contact with todd was july 2021 said he will look into it , got lied to they will lie

On the name of free consultation wasting time

On the name of free consultation, these guys are wasting the time. I drove almost 40 mins once i arrived they are saying it’s canceled then i scheduled it for next then they scheduled it in the morning 6 AM that is ridiculous after that i changed to 9AM , when i arrived they told it virtual and simply saying Sorry. If you guys are sending the reminders for the appointment then why can’t you send the changes prior to us instead of wasting our time. I am really fed-up with these guys

Ojalá hubiese leído todas estas opiniones antes de caer en esta triste y horrible estafa..... ya es bastante triste estar quedando calva como para que estos ladrones se burles de uno de esta manera. Cuando vi mil veces la pu licidad en Hair Club en televisión, no pensé que fuera una institución tan mala, tan estafadores. Vine aquí en la sede de Hair Clud de Delray Beach, hace 4 meses, ha meterme en una deuda de 5 mil dólares, y han fallado en todo lo que me prometieron, el microblanding capilar desapareció cuando lavé el cabello, los productos de lavado de cabello los vende Amazon mucho más económico. La chica que tomó mis fotos hoy para evaluar si hubo alguna mejoría (que no la ahi) al final me dijo que no sabía tomar las fotos capilares. Y nadie da la cara. En fin, no caigan en esta trampa de estafadores. :( que triste me siento

I would really appreciate you or anyone reading the reviews to have a look at my review From Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, this place is truly a scam they have no interests in genuinely caring or helping people like us out! All they care about is Money! I am so very sorry to see and read all the damage that they’ve done to the people who’ve given them a business! I had originally came in there for some help with my situation and mine was different than usual clients, I had surgery gone wrong and they had said they could help me, as vulnerable as I was looking for a solution for myself, they said that this device is the only way, so until I received this so called device I wasn’t sure what it was until I received it! It turned out to be a cut out of a wig they glue on your scalp!?! Very nasty, to say the least! I had a full head of beautiful gorgeous hair minus the scar I had from the surgery gone wrong, they glued this ugly smelly piece on my head then very slowly each appointment I had hair cut shorter and then shaved so this ugly device they call it would be covering that area that had no hair! My daughter said why are they doing that?! I truly trusted them at that time which clearly was a huge mistake! So in order to get out and away from this nonsensical non realist place I found a way to remove that device myself and she wasn’t happy to hear I had done that, my hair after working with these people had no chance! So I had to shave off all my hair and go back to wearing wigs which I haven’t needed in quite some time! I tried to get in touch with someone higher up and the lady offered me a head piece which I was clearly so extremely upset with, I couldn’t believe how she handled this circumstance it was completely unacceptable and unfounded!!! I would have been grateful to receive a refund due to all the damage and anguish they had caused me!!! I strongly don’t recommend this facility to anyone please do your homework before committing yourself to this fake facade! Don’t be fooled by this fools, of their foolishness!

Question I would like answered

I have been a hair club client for 2 years, I love my hair and can't really imagine being without it. I have a question and can't seem to get a good answer from anyone. We pay a lot for our hair systems, why aren't we allowed to keep them? Don't they belong to us? I repair and make dolls, and would like to keep my hair for this reason. Please let me know why I haven't been allowed to keep my hair. Thank You for your help.

I was told that I would receive a Refund

July 5, 2021 I was told by the area manager of PA that I would get a refund from Hair club as soon as they reviewed my paperwork/services. I spoke to the manager by phone in April, 2021. I signed a contract at the Bala office on Feb, 2020 and lost all of my hairline. I also received scalp burns from my hair being dyed with the unit on my head. I have since spent hundreds in visits to the dermatologist/prescriptions. I received services from the Bala Cynwd, Montgomery county office for a full year. I sent pictures of my hair and a certified letter in March, 2021 to that office. I sent the before and after pictures of my hair. I received a call from the manager there asking if I would consider coming back. I stated no way! I called the corporate office and was told someone would return my call. I spoke to the area manager in April, 2021 he asked if I wanted to receive services either in Elkins Park or New Jersey locations. I explained I did not want to have any more services done by Hair Club. I explained that I just wanted my money refunded. I have to wear wigs/head wraps. The manager lied to me and stated that he would get back to me about a refund. That was in April, I spoke to Alex. I also called 1-888-369-0394, 1-800-369-0394, Hair Global Headquarters. I have been given the run around. I have experienced emotional stress due to the condition of my hair. I have spent money on hair products, wigs etc. This company has shown no empathy or professionalism. This is my second review on this site. Norma Rhine

Keep paying with no product??

I visited my local Warwick hair club over a year ago . I explain to the gentleman how much I could afford each month. He set up a plan for me which included less hair analysis visits to accommodate my plan but that was OK with me. Everything was going fine I was paying my monthly payment I was getting my products every month, my hair was getting better. But after like 15 months went by I realized I was still paying. I called up to pick up my product they told me I had no more product to get? I called..The gentleman told me that it was a 12 month plan and free interest for 12 months I assumed I was paying for 12 months. As I looked further into my paperwork I realize I’m paying for 24 months. I guess that was his way of lowering my payments. His response was “if you add up your payments you can see it does not add up”! Why should I have to add up the payments that should’ve been forthcoming. So for the last 12 months of my contract I will get no product and no services. I feel that this was deceiving. I would not have a problem paying if I was still getting product but the fact that I have to pay for almost another year and get no product/services? He keeps telling me that’s the issue with the lending company. But I’m telling him that was not clearly explained by him. HE gave me the contract and HE decided on the term, that’s how he was able to get me to agree to my budgeted payment. Yes I should have read the contract better but I trusted him . Mistake !

HC has totally broken our service agreement contract. My hair is literally shredded. Replacement is 6 months past due. Salon has no solution to offer. I did get one proactive call - to ask me for a new credit card so I can continue to pay for *nothing*.

Jacksonville Hair Club the Best!

I had hair and style treatment on June 3. Due to my recent back surgery, I had difficulty walking and sitting in the stylist's chair because of the back brace I am required to wear. The entire team went out of their way to help me be comfortable and feel safe that I would not fall. Kim (the receptionist), Dani (the stylist), and Whitney (the manager) were all professional and deserve a 5-star rating. They are the best! Thank you to each of them for their concern and caring.

Be Careful What You Wish For.

I've been a HairClub member since 2018 and it truly changed my life. While the initial system that was put on was a bit daunting at first (puffy, dry), I tried to quickly learn how to style it and maintain it myself and HairClub was very helpful along the way. YouTube videos online are also very useful. It was a learning and took a lot of work but, it was better than the alternative of being bald. It's a partnership — HairClub can make sure you're satisfied before you leave their offices, but it's up to you to take care of the hair and to be careful with how you sleep, and be mindful of how often you're washing it etc. Think of it like this...the second you leave the office, everything you do will play a role in the system coming up. Exercise, swimming, bike-riding, sleeping, brushing, washing. That's the nature of a system that is attached to your head with glue and tape. It's expensive. And at every turn, they try to persuade you to go to a higher level (more frequent hair services, better quality hair, better quality bases etc. — all inconsistent from club to club, member to member, so it seems). At the end of the day, it's a business that needs to make money. In order for the business to make the most money, they need their customers. Some of the employees are wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, polite, and talented. Other employees have proven to be deceitful, dishonest, and unprofessional. When the global pandemic hit, all of the members were expected to continue paying for services despite the centers being closed. Individual arrangements were made and discounts varied from customer to customer. I understand the pandemic was out of their control (despite some stylists feeling that the virus was a hoax, that's another story), but how are members expected to throw hundreds to thousands of dollars out over the months that the centers were closed and get nothing in return? I understand that they did what they could to survive (virtual assistance, shipping out pre-cut hair) but it just didn't work out. I found other options and, despite having paid for a few months (at a slightly discounted rate), I had to leave HairClub. I was able to buy hair from freelance stylists and do my own maintenance and the only issue I would run into was the skin systems shedding quicker than I was used to with the HairClub lace systems. HairClub happened to reach out to me in April of 2021 with new pricing discounts and an incentive to come back with skin systems every 6 weeks and they caught me at a bit of a crossroad since the system on my head was shedding badly. I was told the price-point, I was told I would get skin systems, and I was told I'd get them every 6 weeks. Upon signing, I got in the chair and the stylist examined my thinning skin system and then the frontal hairline was snipped to show me how we could shorten it as the hair thinned. Unfortunately for me, this system was now unusable and I was relieved we would be applying a new system. I was then informed that there is an extreme backorder on hair but that HairClub had 2 of my old lace systems that hadn't been used in-house. I was told I wouldn't be able to do skin systems and that new hair could take 3-12 months to arrive! I was confused and frustrated and I felt deceived. The current system on my head had been snipped and now I was tricked into signing a year long contract when hair might not even arrive for a year. And forget about the skin systems. I wasn't getting those. I took a deep breath and just allowed the stylist to put the older lace system on. It was fine. Not great, just fine. However, when I got home, the lace system was too small. Having gone to different stylists, my "template" had changed and this lace system is too small. Shouldn't someone have checked this before applying? Where did things go wrong? When I reached out to cancel the contract again and request that final system be mailed to me, I was met with anger and more deceit. I was told that my recollection of events was wrong and that I now broke two contracts. I thought I could have that final system and be able to somehow sew the two together and have it cut properly to fit my head but I was told that I couldn't have that final system. I also felt I was owed something since I had paid for months without receiving any service or any hair - HairClub did not agree to that. At the end of the day, pre-pandemic, HairClub was fine. It was an expensive solution to a hair loss problem. I've yet to work with a stylist who actually wears the systems themselves so no one is truly informed on the day-to-day scenarios that you deal with and a lot of the "issues" are explained away as a fault of the customer. Life will go on. Now someone will reply to this review saying that it's not an accurate portrayal of what happened so it will my word against theirs. At the end of the day, I am standing in my truth.

Espejismo Hair Club

Fui a Hair Club Doral con la esperanza de detener la caída de cabello que sufría y aún hoy sufro. En aquella primera evaluación me pintaron un maravilloso panorama para mi problema, según la manager que me atendió sus tratamientos tenían más de un 90% de éxito y en el menor de los casos 65%. Me dijo que era una candidata óptima pues según las imágenes todavía mis folículos podían producir cabellos nuevos. Comencé mi tratamiento y por razones de la pandemia ellos cerraron, llamé en varias ocasiones y caía directo la contestadora, lo cierto es que ellos empezaron sus actividades de nuevo y nunca recibí una llamada donde me notificaran que ya estaban trabajando. En Septiembre de 2020 por casualidad llamé para saber del estatus de funcionamiento y ya la manager que me convenció de hacer el tratamiento no estaba trabajando más allí. Retomé el tratamiento pero después de varios meses en días pasados cuando me evaluaron por 2da vez me di cuenta que no estaba funcionando. Solicité hablar con las nueva manager y esta solo hablaba inglés. Terminé dándole mis impresiones a mi estilista (quien siempre me ha atendido muy bien) y ella fue a hablar con la manager de mi caso. Al cabo de un rato me mandó a decir de plano que si el tratamiento no había funcionado hasta ese momento ya no iba a funcionar. Y que lo más que me podían ofrecer era una peluca!!!. Imagínense uds pagar $5000 por 5 productos y una lavada de cabello mensuales y que te salgan con eso??? De verdad no pensé que fuera así. En su página pintan todo muy lindo y positivo y quienes acudimos hasta las instalaciones de Hair Club en cualquier parte lo hacemos pensando en que si existe solución a nuestro problema de calvicie o caída del cabello. Te venden los productos los aparatos pero nada de eso ayudó. Quién responde por el dinero que pagamos o la deuda que adquirimos con un banco?

hola esto de hair club es mentira primero me dijeron q me iban a descontar $250 pesos y sabes lo q me dijeron q el antes se habia terminado el descuento cuando yo lo vi en anuncios de tv ni me pusieron esa luz q enseñan para saber q yo tenia en verdad solo me dijeron q tenia alopecia y si uno se le esta cayendo el pelo uno tiene mucha depresion mas las mujeres sabes lo q me hicieron me pusieron pelo y ese pelo es tan duro q no parece ni pelo de verdad pero lo es no te miento en esa situacion pero cuando te lo van a poner lo bien q te lo ponen pero cuando te lo van a cambiar q te quitan esa peluca muchacha te arranca el pelo tuyo sabiendo q tu estas pasando por una depresion grandicisima y es q ellos no tienen algo bueno bueno para sacarte la pega q tienes la peluca estaba yo mas depresiva mas enojada y molesta hasta lloramdo sali de la oficina pase una situacion mala me desepcione grandemente de hair club yo de verdad de corazon no se lo recomiendo no todas los q trabajan ahi son como lo pintan y tengo fotos como esa gente me arrancaron la peluca me dejaron mas carva de lo q yo estaba soy latina y se q mucha mujeres estan pasando por esto mejor ni vallan no se lo recomiendo van a perder su dinero

I have medical issues

I have medical issues, that are incurable. I have been taking steroids since my twenties . I started with the Hair club 10 years ago. I have had what I call my angels . I had a very demanding management position in health care if it wasn’t for the love, support, and kindness, I don’t know where I would be. In a decade I have had only 2 complaints that’s a good track record in 10 years . I can say from the CEO to regional direct Ricky were incredible. My stylist Rachel and María customer manager..Always found a place for me when I was too sick to goti WPB. I live in Vero Beach. I call them my angels because no matter how busy, they always found a spot for me . And made sure I was satisfied. I cannot drive from Vero to WPB anymore, my sister is my caregiver the last 3 years . Hair Club has been incredible. I do not go because of extensions or to look pretty . I go because I have multiple medical conditions . If I was not satisfied they would find a way whatever it was to take care of me. I’m happy to report in 10 years or a decade I have had only two complaints and these were during the Covid pandemic. Both were taken care of in a very short amount of time. I would recommend the Hair Club to any one that looks at themselves in a mirror and says who is that person? And wants to cry . No crying for me . They are awesome . Not just upper management but my stylist for 10 years , and other management personnel . All I can say is they try their best to make the customer happy . feel young again

I've been a hair club member for 23 years and I can't put into words enough of how my hair replacement has changed my life. The hair looks great, but there's many more rewards to having hair again that you need to understand. I am a very active person and love life, so looking good is on the top of my list for also feeling good. Having hair again makes your entire attitude lifted by feeling and looking young again. I have a much happier attitude toward living and it shows with everything I do. People always ask me my age, because they think I am much younger than my real age of 71. I play golf and volleyball with a much younger group and love it. Please consider this system for yourself and see how it changes your life! Its well worth the investment, stay safe, Paul

Had been using another shop for 26…

Had been using another shop for 26 years decided to use The Woodlands location since it was 1&1/2 hours closer. Went with my brother who also used the other shop. Sales pitch was awesome so I changed to hair club and paid annually for 4 systems. Both my brother and I mentioned at least 15 times that we used the Icons only. The first system I got was white. The current system I had was a 70/30. I showed the Hair Club system to my wife and brother and they laughed, said I looked like a punk rocker, and told me I could not go out in public. I scheduled an appointment for march 3rd and they agreed it was way off color wise. I left the system and waited 3 weeks for them to find one in the correct color. They called me after finding a system and I went in to find out the system was lace. I was also informed that I could not get a an Icon system because I was only a Bronze member. Through this entire process there was all kind of scheduling issues that I really don't have time to get into.

SCAM! RUN! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

I came in February 13, 2021 and one of my appointments was cancelled. Before I had a chance to look at it. A black stringy wig was glued to my head. It was the wrong texture and the wrong color. Even though I provided a hair sample. They still didn’t get it right. Then I was provided with another wig and it was a little better. However' it became very dry and fell out badly. This wig was placed on my head around early March 2021. Today is June 16, 2021and they are still telling me they don’t have hair and it will be here next time. Their excuse is COVID. COVID is not stopping other salons from getting hair. I paid these people $3800 dollars in February and four months later, all I have to show for it now, is one raggedy wig. WHY ARE YOU TAKING PEOPLE’S MONEY FOR A SERVICE YOU CANNOT DELIVER!!! ONLY SCAM ARTISTS DO THIS. I am extremely upset and plan to file complaints against this company. It has been very traumatizing for me. They claim you will feel better about yourself. Just the opposite happened to me. It’s depressing to know people are lying to you after you spent hard earned money. They need to be stopped.

the treatment offered didn't work! and the other solutions were not offered as seen on TV

I am writing to communicate my dissatisfaction with the results I had during my HairClub treatment. After two years of useless treatment, I complained about my dissatisfaction where I did not see the results that I was promised in the beginning in your location at Doral, FL. When I claimed to be offered another treatment (as stated in their promotion on TV) in case the first one did not work, they only told me that there was only one that is artificial extensions! No one at HairClub told me that the procedure FUT or FUE (performed by Bosley) as alternative solutions! Nobody sits down with me to explain the other solutions and they just let me walk away with my dissatisfaction and I had to find out about this from another HairClub customer. How can you help me with this? I spent more than $$5k on an useless treatment of shampoos, drops, visits etc. that never helped me with my hair loss and I feel cheated and disappointed with HairClub.

I have already written the district…

I have already written the district manager, where I explained my experience on my first visit to Hair Club in Mobile, Alabama. I went for the free analysis. I went on the suggestion of my girlfriend but had no intention of doing anything. To make her happy was why I went. From the moment I entered the office cleanliness and kindness greeted me, her name was Cynthia. She called me by name and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable. Then came Danli my consultant. I explained my son was getting married in a couple weeks and how my friend thought I might like to do something with my hair. I told her I didn't want to waste her time since I knew I wasn't going to do anything. I knew also there was not enough time before the wedding according to the time needed by your company to get everything ordered and received then expect next appointments. That would be impossible to expect that could happen.. Then the unexpected and the impossible happened. Suddenly, I found myself talking with friends that be cared about my desires and expectations. No pressure, no sales pitch, just honesty and information about your services. Knowing that the wedding was why I wanted to look the Best I could, they said they could make a normal two week process into a five day. Your employee Brandon was on the ball immediately. Things got done by working late and coming in early. Everyone was incredibly professional and pleasant. I don't know how they did it but five days later I left that office a new man. I felt handsome, confident and best of all I haven't worn a hat since. I not had so many compliments ever. No one but close friends and family even knew. Even they were amazed at the natural look. So thank you hair club and everyone at the Mobile Alabama office. I look forward to a long lasting relationship and friendship. It's great to know people that care and have the skills to change your life! Thank you so much

I would have love to have my set of hat match to my actual hair texture. Also I did specified that I wanted 100% human hair. Whatever I have doesn’t feel like real human hair. However, I have an amazing hair dresser Kathy. I’ll give Kathy her 5 stars.

It's an experience

It's an experience, and quite expensive. It was not what I expected even though I went for it. The hair is great but I was looking for a permanent solution to my hair problem, but what I have going on is semi-permanent. I might have to go back to my original once I'm done with payment. I would recommend, though. But financial part needs to be made more clearer

I hope this doesn't sound corny

I hope this doesn't sound corny, but in view of the many commercials, I've seen, relating to Hair Club for Men I really thought this was just a get-rich company. I believed that I would be given some pills, charged thousands of dollars, and sent home to await a Class Action Law Suit. But I was WRONG! The professionalism, warmness and concern given to me showcased a professionaI perspective that befuddled my expectations. The analysis, treatments, shampoo, etc., provided me with a belief I didn't have before and a cost I didn't believe was so affordable. In short, your treatments work! In just one month, my hair is growing where the military said "... it'll never grow back." So know this, I am well pleased.

Deceitful

I had an out of the blue bald spot three years ago. It was shocking and traumatic. I was completely dumbfounded and scared. I went into the hair club in Savannah GA. Desperate. Not understanding what was happening. 32 years old, with no family history of hair loss. I was not educated, obviously, in alopecia or any auto immune diseases. I just needed help. The woman I had my appointment with was nice, but NOT a Dr. She showed me a technology to show my bald spots, but never offered education on hair loss or gave me options of drs, blood work, auto immune disease, she never even spoke about alopecia. What kind of hair loss company doesn’t speak about alopecia? As a woman who is scared about my hair loss, I signed a contract thinking this would cure me. This manager of the company, not a dr or specialist got me to sign a loan contract through a second company where the interest was absurd! I don’t think she even understood what she was wanting me to sign. Something that was supposed to be $2800 turned into a $4000 bill! I tried to get out of it because within a week there were spikes of hair coming through. That had nothing to do with the hair club. Alopecia in my circumstance, you go bald, than the hair grows back. When I called to tell them, after doing research on alopecia, which the hair club never even mentioned, they wouldn’t cancel or give my money back. I asked for the woman I spoke with, SHE NO LONGER WORKED THERE. This club may help for some, but a hair loss company that does not have a dermatologist, md, can’t write prescriptions for blood work... and takes your money. 3 years later my bald spots are immense and they have been more traumatic than I can imagine. I gave thousands of dollars to people who are not specialized in hair loss, and I never got phone calls back, when asked for supervisors and managers. The hair club means well, i think, but they take your money without getting all the facts; blood work, family history, background, health etc. And they easily take your money because of your desperation.

My experience at Sacramento , Ca

I had a good experience with my consultant Charissa. I was nervous & she was there to explain things. I bought the laser cap first & in a couple of months I will be going back to purchase hair replacement fitted for me. My only complaint is when I received laser cap there were parts missing.
