Very bad reviewers. I'd gone through 7 times to remodify just my title of my services. Just a normal 'provide professional video editing with ai production workflow' and it's removed. Beyond my comprehension of just a simple thing can be so strict. Not worth to be in this platform.

7 days have passed and still no response from customer support
7 days have passed and still no response from customer support. I am unable to verify my account as the email is not coming through. Ethan from customer support answered my support ticket asking for information which I provided straight away. It has now been 7 days without any follow-up. Issue unresolved and customer support is silent. Completely unhelpful and with kind of delay between messages with support it is not a viable option freelancers.
Incessant requests for review
Incessant requests for review, in spite of opting out of marketing emails. The product provided by the freelancer was good, but the format and system (not permitting direct contact or emails to the freelancer) reeks of mistrust and reflects poor emphasis on service.
Paid for nothing, cannot reach human support.
I paid for a product that was to be delivered in 5 to 7 days, we are 34 days into this mess and Fiverr is refusing to communicate past the automated AI responses. The seller does NOT speak English and has no idea what I need, and this person is about to get $310 from me without ever completing a single thing we have been discussing for more than a month. This site has become a SCAMMERS PARADISE.

I have been a seller on Fiverr with an active account and $280 in cleared earnings that I cannot withdraw. My support ticket #14541920 was submitted 3 days ago and I have received zero response despite their 72 hour promise. My withdrawals are disabled with no proper notification ever sent to me about any restriction. I have worked hard for these earnings and Fiverr is blocking me from accessing my own money with no explanation or support response. If I was able to withdraw my earnings I would give Fiverr a 5 star review because I enjoyed working on the platform. Ticket number: #14541920, I expect a response within 24 hours or I will be escalating this further.
Automated system bans new buyers for sending a standard brief
I opened an account to hire a logo designer. My first message included a placeholder domain for context and a clear disclaimer that we make entertainment games, not gambling. Fiverr's automated system instantly issued a permanent suspension. They refuse to tell me exactly which rule I breached. I have thoroughly checked their Terms of Service and Community Standards, and I have not violated a single one. Their system completely stripped the context of the message and auto-banned a legitimate corporate buyer trying to spend money. The designer is actively trying to reply to me, but Fiverr has locked me out. A frustrating and broken onboarding experience. I’d recommend avoiding the platform as it’s administered by bots and/or people who think like bots.

I had a very disappointing experience with Fiverr support regarding a phone verification issue. Every response from support took around 5+ days, making the process extremely frustrating, and even after multiple follow-ups there was still no proper solution provided. What concerns me most is how a personal phone number can apparently get linked to another account without stronger verification checks. Instead of offering a faster verification method, support continued asking for old email addresses while the issue remained unresolved. For a platform as large as Fiverr, I expected much better customer support and account security handling.

My account "inverty" was permanently suspended, and the mandatory 90-day waiting period ended on April 30, 2026. Exactly 118 days have passed since the hold started on January 30, 2026. However, I never received the automated withdrawal link. I have been trying to contact Fiverr support for several days, but they are completely ignoring my emails. I am currently in Bangkok, Thailand (a fully supported region), so there are no compliance or territorial barriers. Fiverr is unlawfully withholding my earned money. I demand immediate manual assistance to release my funds to my PayPal
No support for sellers
Fiverr does not adequately protect its service providers in dispute situations. I experienced a case where a client clearly acted in bad faith, and despite providing evidence and reporting the issue, no meaningful action was taken. The responses from support were generic and did not reflect a proper review of the full conversation or context. As a result, I felt unsupported as a seller on the platform. I have escalated the matter to fraud-related channels, as the situation was not properly addressed.
Best Customer Service Ever
Why I'm leaving this review is for one reason: Customer service. Although its a bit of a chore to find where to offer overall feedback with the Fiverr platform, once you start, they lead you through it very thoroughly and anonymously. I've never felt like my opinion mattered more with any other company, ever. I've used a lot of "freelancer" platforms and Fiverr is the best by far and after this experience I won't even consider using another.

My experience with Fiverr has been one of the worst I’ve ever had with an online platform. I purchased a service through PayPal with a delivery date scheduled for April 12th. The service was never delivered within the agreed timeframe. Despite this, I remained patient and waited until May 17th before opening a dispute through PayPal. That’s when the real problem started. PayPal informed me that Fiverr had confirmed the service was successfully delivered. The issue is that I have screenshots, conversations, and evidence clearly proving the exact opposite: the service had been canceled and was never completed. After providing all the proof to PayPal, I was told to contact Fiverr directly. When contacting Fiverr, they simply pushed the responsibility back onto PayPal. In the end, nobody takes responsibility and the customer is left completely unsupported. Honestly, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and absolutely no real protection for paying customers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fiverr to anyone.
Horrible waste of time & money
Horrible waste of time & money I cannot post photos here -- but I left a 1-star review for my editor I hired, mind you, it was $379.00 USD. He outsourced the work to someone who didn't speak English, all AI-slop, and when I left the 1-star review, I came back to check 6-months later, and it showed "Your review was deleted by Customer Service". I didn't use any curse words or vulgarity. Just posted like how I am now. They lie and cheat and steal. DO NOT USE!

My commitment to client satisfaction was absolute—I even offered full refunds to guarantee a perfect experience. Despite years of dedication, Fiverr permanently closed my account over an obscure rule I was entirely unaware of, denying me any opportunity to appeal. It is incredibly disheartening to see years of hard work and unblemished service erased without warning or recourse.
WORST experience ever
Fiverr has to be the website on wich I have had the stupidest experience of my life. You sign up, takes ages, then create a Gig, takes ages, give all your info, ect... Once it is up, you get 50 spam messages per minute asking you to click a link. And then out of the blue you get banned withouth a specified reason, while these scam accounts are still out there spamming people to scam them. This is my second account, got banned on both, checked their terms and coudn't find a reason that fit my account. Absolute nonsense of a GUI, everything is hidden. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS WEBSITE PLEASE.
All around terrible
I'm a long term seller on Fiverr. While I appreciate the platform it gives small freelancers like myself, everything else is atrocious. I have had several issues that required contacting customer support. There is no way to access that on the website itself (at least that I know of). You only have the "help center" which is basically just an FAQ. After digging around I found their support email address. For 3 out of 4 issues I had I got a response that was very obviously made by AI which boiled down to "we're sorry you feel that way". The last time the email didn't even get through to them because their customer support servers couldn't be reached. In addition to that the cut they take off your revenue is pretty predatory. On the surface it's a 80/20 cut, which doesn't sound that bad, but they also charge you for withdrawing your revenue. And the worst part, IF SOMEONE TIPS YOU OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEART THEY TAKE A CUT FROM THAT TOO. If you're a seller, Fiverr offers a big pool of potential customers, which I understand is a big selling point. But if you're a buyer, please stay far far away.
Don’t ever use this platform for your SEO
I have been using Fiver for many years and I’ve seen the decline of the quality of freelancer on the platform. However, recently I had an awful experience of a freelancer who contacted me outside of fiver (against their policy) to start working on our seo and hosting. It soon transpired that the freelancer moved our server into his own name then presumed to lock us out of our site. The next 48 hours we were held to ransom in threat they would delete the site and all back ups. After having 2 days of this hell we managed to find an old back up and restore the site on a different server. I reached out to Fiver and was simply disgusted with how they treated the situation. Essentially they wouldn’t believe it was the same freelancer from their platform. I sent screeenshots of the WhatsApp conversations where he mentions “sir you contacted me on fiver asking me to reply to your WhatsApp.” I mean what other proof do they needs it’s the same person 🤦♂️ The support were really poor in dealing with the situation and I only reported it to stop people having the same experience. Fiverr clearly so my thinks about revenue rather than the duty of care of users. As a user of 5 years I will no longer be using this platform and will advocate to others to never buy from Fiverr. Please consider other options as if things go bad they will do nothing and scam freelancers continue to exist on their platform.
Fiver failed to take simple ethical action
A seller (from pakistan) i had discussed project with, during the privy and privately discussed custom requirements of my project, the seller posted my project up as advertisement or gig he offers as service. Basically he took my custom project and offered the same built for others and posted it on his portfolio. That would be unethical, unprofessional, and inappropriate of the seller. Expectedly I then lodge complaint with Fiver. Unfortunately the fiver team took no action and did not reply on the issue. They gave a standard answer of looking into it, and then closed the ticket. Fiver could have easily responded to remove the gig. Instead it seems having more gigs is good business for Fiver.

In February 2026 I paid €608.15 for a Fiverr order. Immediately after payment, I was suddenly locked out of my Fiverr account due not being able to go through phone 2FA. I contacted Fiverr support multiple times asking for help regaining access OR cancelling/refunding the order because I literally could not access the account or the paid service. After weeks (5), Fiverr restored access to my account. Meanwhile, because I had no access to the order or support resolution, a bank dispute was opened. Once I regained access, I CANCELLED the dispute myself and informed Fiverr that the funds remain with the merchant (Fiverr), confirmed by Revolut. Revolut officially confirmed: the chargeback was cancelled, Fiverr kept the settlement funds, no refund was issued to me. I also received an official Fiverr CREDIT INVOICE for the exact amount (€608.15), which indicates the order was credited/cancelled. Now Fiverr support claims: “the funds were released to the freelancer as part of the dispute outcome.” This statement appears inconsistent with: the cancelled order, the credit invoice, and Revolut’s written confirmation that the funds remain with Fiverr. Also i haven't received any screenshot confirming that. On the other hand the freelancer shared his screenshot with me as a proof the order has been cancelled. Screenshot attached. So currently: the freelancer allegedly did not receive payment, the order was cancelled, the dispute was cancelled, Fiverr has the funds, and I still do not have my money back. For months I have been going in circles between support messages without a proper explanation of where the money actually is. Fiverr is currently holding my money without my consent. The order was cancelled and the freelancer did not receive payment, yet the funds were still not returned to me as the customer.

Betrüger!! Verarschen ihre Verkäufer. Man müsste die Plattform über die Eu Anzeigen. Kann das mal einer fertigmachen? Verstoßen gegen Transparentsgesetze und wollen ihren Score nicht offen zeigen. Im Grunde wird hier nur noch abkassiert. Werde hier nur noch an Fiverr vorbeiarbeiten und die Plattform für Akquise nutzen aber NIEMALS auch nur einen Auftrag hier abschließen. Geldverschwendung. Die Scores verbessern sich nicht und vom Support wird man nur weitergerewicht in einer Schleife bis man irgendwann keine Lust hat jedem Botmitarbeiter alles zu erklären. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn da noch mehr Gesetzeverstöße wären.
