I’m currently in the United States trying to use the Sim and the customer service is appalling. I have been trying to get access for 24 hours. I’m on the sites chat communicating with no one. Every four hours I get a message asking for me to provide additional information and then in response I get no message back to help me resolve my issues.
This shit is garbage in disguise. No FUP no throttling, high-speed sounds good, but to your surprise, the speed is 20mbps even at 5G in a major city where I had 481mbps on same network different seller, Of course the speed cannot be throttled if its at 20mbps compared to most sellers that got 500mbps 🤣 Do not buy off this website, never. For them „5G high speed“ is considered to be the same as old school 3G speed
Habe eine esim für Tanzania gekauft. Sehr komplizierte Installation. Eine 13 stellige Esim Nummer zum Freischalten habe ich nie bekommen. Nicht in der App, noch per SMS, nicht per Email. Geld verschenkt. Neuer Versuch bei anderem Anbieter ( Saily ). QR Code hochgeladen . Fertig. Läuft. Finger weg von etravelsim Update 30.08.2026: Nach Abgabe meiner Bewertung hat sich etravelsim mit mir in Verbindung gesetzt und mir Hilfe angeboten. Habe dieses mit Hinwei auf eine bereits anderweitig gekaufte Karte abgelehnt. Habe um Rückerstattung gebeten. Diese habe ich unverzüglich erhalten. Daher ändere ich meine ursprüngliche Bewertung von 1* auf 3*. dieses ändert nichts an meiner grundsätzlichen Bewertung. Der Anbieter sollte die Aktivierung der Karte deutlich kundenfreundlicher gestalten.
No Customer Service I purchased a US travel sim with both data and minutes. I activated using the QR code, and was able to make calls but didn't receive data. I tried to reach out to their support (only available on WhatsApp), and received no responses. Updated to 2 stars: after 6 hours, I did hear from their customer support team. While they were unable to fix the problem, I was given a full refund. Support staff was polite once responsive, and I do appreciate the refund. However if you need a SIM card that works immediately upon arrival, it can't be relied upon from etravelsim
In der Türkei praktisch unbrauchbar Meine Erfahrung mit der eSIM von E. Travis SIM in der Türkei ist leider sehr schlecht. Die Internetverbindung ist nahezu durchgehend extrem langsam und instabil. Textnachrichten über WhatsApp lassen sich meistens noch versenden, aber bereits das Laden von Webseiten, Bildern, Videos oder anderen Apps wird sehr schwierig oder funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Von einer Reise-eSIM erwarte ich, dass ich unterwegs zumindest zuverlässig navigieren, Informationen abrufen und normale Internetdienste nutzen kann. Das war hier leider kaum möglich. Für mich hat die eSIM ihren eigentlichen Zweck damit nicht erfüllt. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung kann ich den Anbieter für die Türkei nicht empfehlen. Update: getting a new E-Sim which works good. Ich habe unbegrenzt in der Türkei gekauft. Ich habe in einer Stadt wie Istanbul nirgendswo richtig Internet alles lädt sehr Lange das einzige was man gerade noch so machen kann ist es Nachrixhten auf Whats App zu schreiben. Niewieder dieser Anbieter.
Virkelig godt internet, havde brugt esimfo de sidste 10 dage og det har været ubrugligt. Her de sidste 3 dage ku jeg ik mer og prøvede så etravelsim som virker virkelig godt.
Disappointing experience from start to finish. Trying to purchase an esim was hard initially as payment stated it didn't go through and then I was charged twice. I was told I would get a refund but after a week I had to chase again. Refund came through though but why should I have to chase? Worse than that I purchased a 20gb plan. After using 6gb I got a warning via text from Orange saying I was nearing my 10gb limit. I checked with the WhatsApp customer service and was told to ignore the message as I had purchased a 20gb plan. Guess what? I got cut off at 10gb and customer service is not responding. So I paid for a product and they didn't provide it. Took my money for 20gb and only offered me 10gb. I have travelled for many years and always used another provider without an issue so will return to them. You should never expect to be cut off when travelling for no reason. Happy to add that after numerous messages and requests for me to send screenshots of SIM configuration (good job I had access to WiFi at the time) I was sent a new SIM after trying to explain that the old one didn't work. Watch out with these people though as only a new SIM fixed the problem as the original expired after 10GB.
Purchased 50gb of data, was working fine for 4 days and then stopped working suddenly and has been out for the last 10 hours. I tried to contact them, probably around 30 times, and only received an automated message stating that there is a service outage and that it would be back in 3-4 hours. That time has elapsed and it’s still not back on, they will not reply to any of my WhatsApp messages.
The problem with an eSIM is that you can't activate it until you arrive at your destination, so a fair bit of trust is involved. Etravelsim got generally positive reviews and was a good price, so why not? Well, I installed it when I arrived in Croatia, and I had no internet. Luckily I had activated global roaming on my physical SIM, because I'm paranoid, and I was able to order Ubers etc. Tech support confirmed I'd installed the eSim correctly, and after several hours of back and forth and multiple phone restarts, they got it working for me by doing something at their end. It was OK for a couple of weeks, but then I crossed the border into Slovenia, whereupon it stopped working. No internet. So I switched to my physical SIM again. After another few hours of back and forth with Tech Support they made a lot of suggestions and asked me to restart my phone several times. At time of writing, it still doesn't work. It tries to register with a network for a few minutes, then gives up and tells me to try again later. Maybe it will start to work again when I leave Slovenia, but I'm not hopeful, so I'll have to use my physical SIM sparingly. Even if tech support manages to get it going again, it's been a massive waste of time. Edit: while you might be able to activate your eSim before your trip, you won't know if it will work until you arrive at your destination. In my case, it did not when I arrived in Croatia, and it stopped working when I crossed the border into Slovenia. Tech support were responsive and ultimately got it working, but the last thing you need when you're at an airport after 2 full days of travel is to be on Whatsapp to tech support for a few hours. My order id is 819560 if you want to verify everything I've said. Edit2: while driving from Rijeka to Zagreb, it dropped out again, so I lost real time traffic updates. Traffic in Croatia in the middle of summer can be incredibly congested and come to a stop unexpectedly, so real time updates can be critical if you need to be somewhere at a particular time. It might have been a network coverage issue, but my physical SIM came to the rescue again

I first used eTravelSim during my travels to India, and recently used it for Israel. The whole process from purchase to enabling to activating and using is pretty robust and simple, and the connection and speed is awesome. I will continue to use them for my future travels and have already recommended them to friends
Not bad but could be improved. Yes good value for money however website and app glitchy and double charged even when said failed try again - still waiting on refund. Lacks clarity on whether Rwanda is covered in Africa region- app says no support says yes - still unable to get it to work but does work in Uganda. Do have support on email and message but response times do vary and was left for a few hours on read with no update apology or help but next day they did come back. Review updated when they did actually respond. It did take a review to get helpful support but pretty much resolved now. Family members still without refund after 6days when they said 1-2. They do need to improve payment system as Apple Pay and PayPal on web and app unreliable
Hello My wife and I just returned from three weeks in the US. Before the trip, we purchased two eSIM cards from eTravelSim. The cards work perfectly and we enjoyed free browsing. Even before the purchase, we contacted customer service via WhatsApp and I was always answered quickly by a representative. I received clear answers that helped me decide and make the purchase. During the trip, we had difficulty making and receiving calls and contacted customer service via WhatsApp. Even from abroad, at all hours of the day, it was really easy to reach and receive support from a representative. All the representatives were focused on helping and solving our problem. A representative named Mohammed stood out in particular, who accompanied us via WhatsApp until the problem was solved. We would like to thank and express our appreciation to the representatives who took care of us and the managers who created such standards of customer service. You are abroad, feeling helpless, but the representatives left us with the feeling that there is nothing to worry about and that we are in good hands. Congratulations Regards R&T

Ich habe mir für die USA eine Travelsim bestellt, diese wurde auch recht schnell innerhalb von wenigen Minuten geliefert. Leider hat die eSIM nicht funktioniert, Kontakt zum Support nur mit WhatsApp. Nach etlichen versuchen hat mir der Anbieter eine weitere eSIM geschickt, gleiches Problem. Ich werde nun bei meinem vorherigen Anbieter wieder eine eSIM holen. Was schwierig ist, dass es sehr lange dauert bis der Kundendienst antwortet. Und dadurch auch keine zeitnahe Lösung möglich ist.

So easy to set up this travel sim, we chose the 30 day plans with unlimited calls as we were travelling through several states here in the USA. The sims worked as soon as we landed from the UK which was such a relief after all the planning and choosing the right sims for us. The data works well and the phones were instantly available for us to use.
Anfangs hat die ESIM gut funktioniert (Japan), aber nachdem ich einmal den Flugmodus drin hatte wegen eines Inlandsflugs, ging gar nichts mehr. Die Simkarte schafft es nicht sich ins Netz einzuwählen. Anfangs dachte ich es lege am Ort. 3 Orte später funktioniert es immer noch nicht. Ich habe alles versucht. Sämtliche Einstellungen geändert und wieder zurückgesetzt. Die Karte neu installiert, etc. Nichts hat geholfen. Ich habe von 20 GB bloß 7 GB verbraucht und ärgere mich, dass ich so viel Geld ausgegeben habe für eine E-Sim die nicht funktioniert! Ich habe versucht im Kundenchat weiter zu kommen, aber es sendet meine Nachricht nicht mal raus! Die ESIM wird mir auch noch als aktiv in der App angezeigt. Ich bin nur so viele Orte ohne Internet ausgekommen, da meine Freundin mir Hotspot gegeben hat. Ich muss mir jetzt für die restlichen 10 Tage eine neue ESIM holen. Aber definitiv bei einem anderen Anbieter!
Edited: Wish I'd read the poor reviews first. Ordered a sim card with phone number for USA at 9.30pm on Friday evening. According to website, it should arrive quickly. It actually took over 3 hours for the QR code to arrive. Used WhatsApp to try to contact, but had no response. Finally arrived, so I will update when in USA whether it works or not!

Bought this for the first time traveling from the US to Europe. I had great connection throughout my trip. I even had a few days extra which I truly appreciate. Now I needed a 2nd device for installation because it's so much easier to install it with the qr code. I have shared the service with other family members and we frequently travel between Europe and the US.
Netz ist sehr langsam so das ich Schwierigkeiten haben ohne Störungen ein YouTube Video zu schauen. Wenn ich offizielle Dinge erledigen muss wie Flüge checken Überweisungen tätigen oder im Browsers gezielt suchen möchte ist das Netz zu schwach… Wirklich unbefriedigend und nicht empfehlenswert. Wenn ich nur telefonieren will dann gibt es bestimmt auch andere Möglichkeiten. Inländische sim Karten die es am Flughafen zu kaufen gibt sind deutlich billiger, bieten mehr Datenvolumen und laufen viel viel besser, sogar mit der Möglichkeit damit zu arbeiten!! Nicht empfehlenswert.
I,ve purchased the Antalya Turkey TraveleSim from ETravel.com second time. On both occasions the esim coverage and reception were very good. I got 10GB esim because I was there for one week and I am a low user of the data. Overall I am quite happy with the 10GB deals from the ETravelSim.com. I would definitely recommend to anybody who is travelling to Antalya Turkey to buy this esim.

I paid for an eSIM and when I tried to download it, it disappeared. Tried live chat but that wasn’t available at 10am so tried emailing. I did receive a reply but they were unhelpful and the back and forth emailing took forever. All I wanted was for them to help me retrieve the eSIM info, so I could reapply it to my phone. No help was forthcoming. 2 days later, I decided to add a new eSIM and followed instructions. My finger accidentally swiped the screen whilst activating the eSIM and lost it again.once the eSIM code is gone, there’s now way of knowing where it’s gone. As I had no way of knowing how to speak to them, I wrote a negative review. They then very promptly replied and spoke on whattsap. Karan the very friendly service technician patiently helped me and talked me through how to install the eSIM. It wasn’t straightforward so his help was invaluable in getting the eSIM installed on my phone. My faith has been restored in the company. After Customer service is so important and the company needs to improve on that aspect of their business. Thank you Karan for your prompt and friendly assistance. Having that human connection with a telephone call made all the difference to having a positive experience with the product. Thanks again

Absolutely spot on this. First time using a esim and I was abit unsure at first. Should not of worried as it was brilliant and straightforward. We stayed in Alanya for 7 days and had full signal everywhere we went. Price was amazing and cheapest I could find for our needs. Be sure to follow instructions and activate in the UK. I did this at the Airport on day of travel. Remember to turn off your sim1 or sim2 and esim on and your all good 👍 We got the 10gb and 200 minutes deal and came back using about 1.5gb of data. Thank
I was looking for a Travel eSim with real unlimited data. All other eSims containing a Fair-Use-Policy with a data maximum per Day (maybe 2GByte/day). eTravelSim provides real unlimited data. First I test it at home with a one-day order and it works well. I was able to stream videos with a total volume of more than 6GBytes. For a second test I ordered a 2-Day ticket. I was able to use the eSim like the first one. But later at the first day the eSim don't connect anymore with the ISP by any reason. I contacted eTravelSim WhatsApp support and got a reply within some few minutes. At this time there was a technical issue. 45minutes later I got a message to try it again. Immediatly the eSim connects again and worked well until my 2Day-Ticket ends. So eTravelSim fixed the technical issue. In short word: - truly unlimited data is a real data flat rate (I only tested 16GB within two days) - WhatsApp support replies within some few minutes - technical issue has been fixed within 45 minutes So I'm very happy with eTravelSim and will used it on my next vacation.

Bought eSIM from ETravelSim website, it arrived in less than 5 mins on email (check your junk folder). I forwarded QR to another device so I could scan it and it was instantly set up. Arrived in Morocco, switched to the eSIM and it worked whilst we were still on the runway. I choose unlimited data with no speed limitation. Worked well the entire holiday if I had signal I had data. Very happy, second time customer as I purchased on for Philippines last year also.
Numéro de commande #818308 J’ai acheté une eSIM éthiopienne avec 10Go, je reçois une eSIM de l’opérateur français Orange, au bout de 50Mo je reçois un sms me disant que je n’ai plus de data et que je dois recharger, je me dis alors que j’ai du louper une étape, je regarde donc mes mails et vois que j’ai reçu les informations de la eSIM commandée, j’essaie donc de l’activer mais impossible parce-que rien ne correspond ! Je décide de la désinstaller pour la réinstaller et impossible aussi ! J’aimerais avoir une solution rapidement ou être remboursé ! Merci ! UPDATE : Le service client a été très professionnel, j’ai été remboursé très rapidement, il y a eu un quiproquo dans les pays éligibles à l’offre acheté, ce pourquoi les paramètres ne semblaient pas correspondre.

My husband paid for an eSIM and has never received email confirmation. We have been contacting customer services for the past three days and have had no help, apart from one time when I got through to someone via the app chat and sent them a screenshot of the payment and they said they would come back to me in an hour. That was two days ago

A principios de abril compré una eSIM para Colombia de 2GB para 30 días. Desde el momento en que me llega el código de activación me doy cuenta que aparece que son 2GB para 15 días. Me comunico con el soporte técnico y me aseguran mediante correo electrónico que se me respetarán los 30 días, que es un error en la página web en español. A los 8 días de uso, solicito el balance de GB utilizadas y me dicen que tengo aún 1,3GB y ayer de nuevo solicito el saldo y me dicen que se han agotado los datos. Por una parte no me gusta que no se pueda verificar el consumo de datos constantemente, como sí lo pude hacer con otra compañía. Cómo puedo saber yo que ya he agotado los datos? Tengo que creer en lo que me dicen allí, sin una verificación real? Por otro lado me garantizaron los 30 días y no confío en que justo a los 15 días se agonten los datos. Por estos motivos le doy una puntuación tan baja. Me solicitan el número de pedido que es 791541, pero antes de hacer esta reseña escribí varios correos electrónicos y la respuesta no fue satisfactoria.
Decided to try ESIM for US holiday and this company had the best price and reviews so opted for them for a data/call package. Ordering and installing on iPhone 14 was so easy and as soon as landed I activated the ESIM and get a US number and 5G almost immediately. Had two weeks of hassle free reliable service - so impressed and highly recommend.
Worked well for data and calls throughout my vacation. Worth the purchase and will use the service again.
So... I used etravelsim.com on my last trip, and the data speed surprised me in a good way. Maps loaded quickly, my WhatsApp calls were mostly smooth, and I could even watch short videos without sitting there waiting forever. I thought it might be kind of slow, but it held up really well. Setup was simple too, which made the whole thing easier. Just based on the speed alone, I’d give it 5 stars because it made traveling feel a lot less frustrating. 0 Reply
Fatal, no lo contrateis bajo ninguna concepto!! Voy a reclamar mi dinero. Llegue ayer a Nueva York comprando etravelsim desde España, lo intento activar y nada de datos 1 dia y medio sin datos. Y hablando con ellos por WhatsApp ningun tipo de solución ninoedir perdon u ojo responden a las 1000 horas para pedirte info que ya les has mandado vaya para hacer como que hacen algo. Experiencia nefasta voy a pedir mi dinero de vuelta porque esto es un Timo!!!!
