This is a con. DO NOT register or give credit card details.

I signed up for a free year. Before that year was up, I went to the website to unsubscribe well before I got charged again. I entered my email but never got sent the code to get in so I couldn't unsubscribe. I wrote to both the CEO (who continues to send junk email from his account) and the support@ address and never received a response from either. Luckily, my bank stopped the payment correctly assessing it as suspect but the only way I could stop the payments was to cancel my card and get a replacement. Totally ignore the meaningless responses these guys give to every one of the 100s of crappy reviews. These guys are crooks, plain and simple. Their product is useless and their billing processes criminal. Avoid anythign to do with this company. They, and their product are a con.

I did not receive a renewal notice for…

I did not receive a renewal notice for my subscription. When I saw 2 small debits (.50) from my bank account for Dollar Flight Club, I immediately knew something was fishy. I began efforts to cancel before additional renewal charges were processed. No response from emails or chatbots. The company is designed to scam you after they hook you for the $1 6-month membership. Do not fall for their nefarious tricks. They deserve zero stars.

Charged Without Warning

I signed up a year ago for a trial. Dollar Flight Club sent me no emails. They gave me no warning and then charged my credit card $99. I have not used the service. Now they say that, per their policy, they will not refund my money.

Until DFC creates a transparent way for cancellation, I would never recommend a subscription. They appear to have a non-existing customer service—you’ll be talking to a bot, and only a bot that keeps you running in circles.

Repeated, harassing attempted charges

Cancelled. Didn't renew the "Free" trial. One year later, I'm charged. But luckily Amex flagged the charge as fraud. I had to waste my time replacing my credit card, changing autopay info on several legitimate accounts (as opposed to the fraudulent DFC). But the fraudulent scammers at DFC continue to try to charge my now cancelled card...every few days, sometimes every day, for weeks! I continually get a fraud alerts from Amex regarding additional attempted charges from DFC. Keep it up DFC - formal complaint already filed with Consumer Protection Bureau under Fair Credit Billing Act. I know you claim to follow all laws - which is somehow your minimum standard of service - but I wouldn't be so sure - perhaps you should consult your Legal Department, not Social Media/PR. I'm looking at a potential lawsuit for your harassing attempted charges, and for wasting my and Amex's time...and seeing all the billing-related comments on this site, perhaps I can gin up a class action.

Fraudulent company that relies on hidden charges

Pretty much what everyone in here says. You forget you even have an account or signed up for one and then they charge you without notifying you like they're supposed to. Will initiate a chargeback once it's no longer pending. They offered an extra year of premium for free (I've never even used their services before) or a 100% off voucher for Dollar Flight Club products (whatever that means). They don't even offer premium or business class seats if I wanted take them up on that offer.

Not a scam, but "Scammy"

Not a scam, but definitely "scammy". Free "upgrade" a year ago - I'm not even sure what the upgrade was, and I could never access the supposed upgraded benefits. I tried multiple times to downgrade or just cancel, but they sneakily made it hard to do. Then today, a year later, I received a fraud alert from my credit card that Dollar Flight Club (DFC) charged two small amounts to my card and tried to charge a larger amount...but my credit card denied the larger charge and contacted me. All good charge-wise on my end now, except due to DFC fraudulently charging me, I had to have my credit card reissued and now have to change number for all my autopay accounts. Fraud Prevention Department took care of the monetary issue, but DFC's little scammy move wasted my time! Never give these grifters your credit card number!

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO

I was charged a $99 fee for an annual subscription without any advance notice or chance to cancel. I am unable to login to their website to change or cancel anything. I reached out to the company and was told that a refund could not be provided even though I did not authorize the charge. I am still disputing the $99 charge with my credit card company.

I had a very frustrating experience…

**Edited Reply: This company was contacted prior to the charge and no response was received for weeks. In fact they had not corrected the log in issue until they stole my money from my account. Instead of refunding me the money they took that same day, they doubled down and said they will not be refunding me. Even though they replied to me the same day as the charge. I had a very frustrating experience trying to cancel my Dollar Flight Club membership. For weeks, I was unable to log in because Dollar Flight Club no longer allowed me to use a password. Instead, I had to request a verification code—but no codes were being sent to my email or phone number. I checked my spam and junk folders and repeatedly attempted to log in with no success. When I was charged $109.44 for an annual renewal, I immediately contacted support to explain that I had been trying to access and cancel my account. I spent the entire day emailing back and forth with support about the issue. At first, I was repeatedly told to check my spam folder or use another email, even though I explained multiple times that the codes simply were not arriving. Then support told me that my email had somehow been unsubscribed and that they had “resubscribed” my account so I could receive the login code. Interestingly, I finally received a code around 4 PM—after spending all day emailing them about not receiving one. It honestly feels like something was changed on their end to make the login work, especially since I had been unable to receive codes for weeks before this. What makes this even more concerning is that I created another Dollar Flight Club account today using a completely different email address, and I still have not received any verification codes for that account either. So this does not seem to be an isolated problem with just one email address. I should not have had to spend an entire day fighting to access an account I was already being charged for. If customers are required to receive a verification code to log in, that system needs to work reliably especially when logging in is necessary to manage or cancel a subscription!! My biggest issue is the combination of being unable to log in for weeks, being charged for an annual renewal while I couldn't access my account to cancel, and then suddenly receiving a code only after a full day of emailing support. I also still cannot receive login codes for the new account I created today. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend taking screenshots and keeping records of all login attempts and communications if you are trying to cancel. They still won't issue my refund. Don't trust this scam of a company!!! They are stealing money.

AUTO RENEWAL SCAM

Here's my experience: Sign up for a dollar then find it TOTALLY useless. Then they don't abide by Australian Consumer law to send out notices of auto renewal - they claim they do, and show you screenshots that prove nothing with no identifiers on the image. If an auto renewal notice never ACTUALLY gets to your inbox, does that mean its sent? Then they charge you $141 for a service that dose NOTHING and claim they are a small business and refuse to refund your money despite the fact that you're never going to find their service useful.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever! Like so many others have i been scammed out of my money from this "company" and like so many others i have been denied a refund and they say "oh, we can't offer you a refund because we run a membership based service which is totally BS! Stay away from this scam company they will steal your money and they will keep your creditcard information so they can keep pulling money out of your creditcard over and over again and your only option is to replace your creditcard and file a police report against them for stealing your money without your permission and have your bank to reimburse you for the money they hove stolen from you! And they don't send you any notifications about that they are going to charge you (and don't claim otherwise, Dollar Flight Club, you know you're not sending out emails and there is plenty of bad reviews that supports this!!) it's a smart way for them to get a lot of people to pay for nothing since they never have send out even one deal where you can actually save money!! And you can't remove your creditcard information from their site, so one you have entered your information then it's free for them to charge your card whenever they want! One big scam, stay away and get your creditcard replaced by your bank if you have entered any of your information on their site because they will abuse it!! Reply to DFC: That's a direct lie that you're telling! You have NEVER send out any notifications about the renewing (as so many others also have wrote in their reviews of your scam site!) and according to my bank then there is NO automatic authorization of you pulling money out of my creditcard just because i have signed up for something that was supposed to be free, that is stealing peoples money when you pull money from their account without authorization and that's a crime! And your support ain't responding to emails, so don't claim that you will be happy to take another look, the only thing you should do, is refund the money that you stole from me or i will contact my bank and have them take action towards you and your scam company!

Unfair auto-renewal trap—refused refund even after immediate cancellation

I am extremely disappointed with Dollar Flight Club. I never found a single flight deal I could actually use during my subscription. To make matters worse, they automatically renewed my subscription for an entire year without sending any advance email warning or notification that the charge was coming due. I only discovered the renewal by checking my bank statement. I canceled the subscription immediately—just 3-4 days after the charge posted. When I reached out to customer support via their chatbot, a representative completely refused to issue a refund, citing their strict policy. Instead of returning my money for an unused future service, they tried to upsell me by offering a second year for a dollar or product vouchers. This company relies on deceptive auto-renewal practices and zero flexibility in customer service. I have filed a formal dispute with my credit card company. Avoid them at all costs.

I'll be reporting these fraudsters to the BBB. Charging me a subscription fee for a service I have never used with zero notification I was being charged (claiming they did notify me). This is a sham. My use began with a free trial...then it charged $99 without warning me to "renew premium plus for one year." I lost $99 without ever having found a good flight that was cheaply priced in the time I had it. It had never proven itself. (not "renewal notice") and completely blended in with the other 1 billion weekly emails they send me. I cannot imagine this service being useful. If you're flying regularly enough to pay $100 for flight discounts, there are credit cards with mileage perks that would benefit you far more than this email spam bot with cheaper annual fees than that.

Pretty frustrating to use on my phone

I tried using the site on my phone and had a hard time with it. It felt confusing right away, like I’d tap one thing and the menu would shift, or I’d scroll and suddenly something else would pop open, or I’d try to go back and end up somewhere totally different. I was just trying to find the settings area, but I couldn’t tell if it was under my profile, the main menu, account options, or some little icon I kept missing. On top of that, it loaded slowly for me too, like pages took a while, buttons didn’t respond right away, and I wasn’t sure if I had actually tapped something or not. Maybe it’s better on a computer or works fine for other people, but on my phone it was enough of a hassle that I gave up quickly. 0 Reply

Unfortunately the company seems to only care about making quick money for themselves. We travel a good bit and love exploring deals. I signed up for the $1 trial and immediately saw there wasn't anything unique offered on their site. It just lists normal flight deals on there so I logged off and forgot. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel the trial and they proceeded to charge $105 for a year's subscription without any notice that the trial is ending. I've explained thoroughly I never intended to subscribe as their service offers me nothing but they're rudely refused over and over again.
