Smooth rental from start to finish
Smooth rental from start to finish. There was no queue at pick-up, and I got exactly the car I had booked. It was relatively new, with around 40,000 km on it. Prices were reasonable too. I'd rent from Let's Drive again.

I can not recommend
I can not recommend. Being pragmatic I can see others have given good reviews in other parts of the world, but our experience with them for a rental car in Greece is not great. They are a broker and will connect you with the lowest denominator, from which the service we received was not great. Do yourself a favour and pay the extra 10% for one of the big brands - in Greece you will find it is a worth paying the extra

I had insurance through discovercars.com, but car-rent on Crete told me they wouldn’t accept it and that if I wanted comprehensive cover again, I’d have to buy it from them once more. So I paid for a second insurance policy. The price from discovercars.com was half the amount I ended up paying. When I wanna get money backthey told me, my unsurance is active and it is not possible to return my money. Never ever!

Europrentcar Palermo: I got a 50 euro parking fine with a rented car. The rental company charged me 61 euros for the automatically generated warning. But for that money they didn't even send me the complete police report, which made it impossible for me to pay the fine and quickly resolve the matter. According to the header, the report is supposed to have 4 pages, I only received the first two pages. I consider this to be a completely fraudulent practice. Avoid this rental company. Unfortunately, I don't see the option to directly rate Europrentcar Palermo rental. They have disabled reviews on Google and cleverly hide behind various booking platforms (like this one - through which I booked), which are very sorry, but will do nothing.

I use this service. I’ve purchased full coverage a few times; I haven’t had an insurance claim, so I can’t evaluate that aspect. However, one time late in the evening, the rental company refused to release the car to us without their own insurance; DiscoverCar support was available even at that late hour and tried to resolve the issue with the rental company staff. When that didn't work, they refunded the cost of the insurance. Most recently, I had to cancel a car reservation, and the funds were returned to my account instantly. Since I hadn't used this type of service before, I contacted support with a question. A representative named Laila answered all my questions and explained in detail how it works. I hope the next booking goes just as well.
